    Default e-mail from BetonSports...

Just received this e-mail from BetonSports. In light of everything that's going on, I was surprised to hear from them.

    Rob,

    Update.

The Company is owed substantial funds from various financial processors.

The majority of these had promised to send the funds due to us by the end of January.

We are still awaiting these funds.

All processors and advertisers owing refunds have been issued formal notices, demanding repayment of our funds to an account being supervised by the Antiguan Gaming Authority, so that we may begin the process of paying all our staff and creditors (including customers)

We will rigorously pursue the funds owing to us so that we can make the payments that are due.

We apologise that this is taking longer than we had anticipated, but we are doing everything in our power to bring this to a conclusion as soon as possible

    As soon as there is substantial progress in recovering our funds we will;

    1) Update the Website www.betonsports.com

    2) Inform all of the online forums that payments are being made.

    3) Contact all clients who have already came forward via email and/or telephone and confirm details of the payment.

    Regards

    BETonSPORTS

I would hope this to be true, but I fear it is only another stall tactic. It does seem strange that they e-mailed you, maybe there is some shot at a little recovery.I would feel more comfortable if I saw some other posters recieving the same message,I know I havent.GL and keep informed please.

I agree about the stall tactic.
I'm not really sure why I received the e-mail. I haven't had any contact with them for several months. I figured that it was a general one that they sent to everyone they owed funds to.
My account was actually with Millennium, if that has anything to do with it.

BOs is pretty good about answering the phones as long as you call after 11:00 est. They also respond to emails, but the emails are always just standard responses.

IS clearly not looking good. At first they said they were promised by thier processors that they would send the money, and now they are claiming that no one sent them a penny. I'm sure everyone who OWes BOS money is thinking the same thing. "If BOS won't pay thier customers, why should we pay BOS"

I'm sure everyone also knows that BOS isn't going file a lawsuit to get thier funds back. WHat does BOS management care if they get paid or not. IF they get the money, they will likley have to use it to pay players back. If they don't get the money, then they send an email to the players telling them that thye don't have the funds to pay. Eihter way, getting the funds back from these processors isn't going to help BOS

mbenz, the last contact I had with them was over two months ago by e-mail.
Once again, I was surprised by the message. I've pretty much written this deal off. I will post again if I hear anything more.

Its all a smokescreen to keep the DOJ thinking that BOS is attempting to pay back the players they stiffed. As soon as David Carruther's case is adjudicated, you won't be hearing from the scam book aka BOS.

Nobody's getting money from BOS. I was very dilligent at trying to collect at first and finally gave up. I advise anyone else to do the same. It's not worth the time and frustration.
