USC still the best team in America in my opinion. The score might not indicate it in today's game, but USC was the far superior team.

Talent, USC has the most talent only teams close to them are Florida, Alabama,and LSU. God i hope USC gets a shot at one of these SEC teams in a Bowl. USC can beat any team in the nation (bad too) they have that much talent.

How quickly you forget Iowa needed two blocked FGs in the last few seconds to beat a 1-AA team.

Every team stumbles. It happens.

Oklahoma lost to BYU--which lost to Florida State---which needed a miracle to beat Jacksonville State. That is what makes college football so much fun----there are always those crazy upsets that makes us scratch our head.

USC is doing pretty damn well considering what they lost on defense, and the fact that they are starting a true freshman qb.

Onner, I had them out of my top five before this weekend.

I will actually move them up in my rankings on their very fortunate win vs. the Irish.......possibly into my top ten.

Ohio State losing to Purdue does not help USC.

College football is very weak this year.

I think it's more a part of parity then weak teams. Too many great athletes to go around. The days of powerhouses stacking top talent on their bench is gone. Kids want to play immediately and almost all the games are on the tv as well.
