No, but I was just thinking if they run the table they've got a shot to get into the title game. They'd need at least one loss from two of Texas/Florida/Alabama. I think they'd leapfrog Boise.
Edit: The rest of their schedule, Northwestern/Minnesota/Indiana at home, and OSU on the road.

Iowa defense is very, very good.......at all 11 positions.
All-around, this is the best Iowa defense I've witnessed in my lifetime, and I'm no spring chicken.
The ANDRE TIPPETT/BOBBY STOOPS teams of the early 80's were close and possibly better, but all-around I think this unit may be the best.SBR Founder Join Date: 8/11/2005

I know they have a cake schedule but there solid on D lead by Winston Venable (Max Venable SF Giants.... family from San Rafael, Ca). He even has another son that plays for the Pads. They will go undefeated and with a little luck do I dare say National Championship game. Originally Posted by jjgold
