Default To all of you USC Backers---including Justin7 and Dr. Bob

Models mean nothing in South Bend, especially with an injury list like this. Notre Dame will win outright.

I hope you're right. If I get tickets to the game (3 miles from my house), I'll blow off all of my daytime betting.

I rather go to that game than the Superbowl.

Why am I hesitant to lay ten points with USC?

I would be too if these two are backing them. You're a professional Bob...what's your opinion?

    ITH,

All the numbers point to a USC win and cover. But then again all the numbers pointed to USC routing Washington too. I've got an uneasy feeling about this one so for me it's a stay away game.

The effect of injuries can be over emphasized . Often the dropoff, especially at the super powers who get so many top recruits, will be minimal. And often, the 2nd stringer getting his chance to start will shine because of an inspired effort. Example: did anyone see Cincy's sub qb who replaced the injured star, Pike?

Despite the above, no comment about today's game and what that injury list may mean. Just speaking in general.

USC is so deep... Trust me Notre dame and their top 25 recruiting classes for the past years are just NOW starting to close the Talent gap with USC. Not going to save them this year. give charlie 2 more years

It also works in the other direction. Ask the Sooners about that. Landry can not carry Bradfords lunch.
