The only sport I will not wager on totals is the NFL. Basketball, you can make money if you find the right teams to work with. For example, LSU in college hoops. They're a horrible shooting team, but play good defense. Most of their game totals are set in the 130s. Today they were 135 against Georgia, most of that I believe based on Georgia's offense. Final score 57-54. Also, Big East games have been a money maker. Alot of their totals have been high which makes little sense with defensive minded teams like Pitt & Georgetown being prime $$$ makers.

Problem is if the game is a blowout and you have the under your basically dead in the water, not only do you have to predict who is going to win the game and by how much you have to preditct game flow in the same bet, they go hand in hand.
