Hi all, it seems a solution for getting money out of neteller is to do a peer to peer transfer within neteller to a non US member, then in turn have that person give you that same amount minus 5% or so via sportsbook transfer. The problem of course, if you dont have a personal friend in another country, is finding a non US member that you would trust enough to actually give you the money after you have transferred to them within neteller. It works out for both parties, one gets their money out of neteller for a small fee and the other basically makes free money, however it all seems to depend on finding someone reputable and trustworthy enough not to rip you off. I myself have a small balance of about $2000 in neteller and have PM'd what i consider to be a very stand up and trustworthy non US poster on this forum about this and am waiting to hear back from him as to if he is willing to do it for me. If he is not for his own reasons feel free to PM me if you are NON US and would be willing to do this type of 2 way transfer with me. If we did do it I would certainly send my funds within neteller to your neteller account FIRST and if possible I would prefer to have the funds transferred back to me within either matchbook, 5 dimes or Bodog. Lastly, please dont flame me guys, I'm just throwing this out there as an idea for everyone, not just myself. The news from neteller for US residents simply continues to get worse and worse(especially with losing the option of the DC today) and something like this seems to be a viable solution.

sounds like a good idea, but how can you ensure that the person on the other end is legit (unless you know them personally?)...

I wouldnt advise anyone to do this, unless they know the person "personally". No internet buddys or so forth. When it comes to money, things get shady between parties.

i agree fully guys, thats the big problem as I've said. I'm still waiting to hear back from the poster on this forum that I PM'd about it, he is someone that i would trust if he agreed to do it.

Wasn't there a problem about NETeller locking the account of the receiver when doing transfer from US accounts??

Yes some accounts were closed, but once the transactions were shown to be legitimate and done by the account holder the accounts were open again.

If you are going to go this route, I would be damn sure you know who you are dealing with. If you don't have someone you can trust 99.9% you should likely wait it out.

Isnt' it amazing that the only option Neteller is offering US residents is to pay Neteller 1.9% to send our funds to a non US resident.

One would think that if Neteller management had an ounce of integrity, they would allow US resdients to do peer-peer transfers free of charge. but thier motto has always been screw everyone. And now it's clear that they are going to do thier best to screw all of us one last time

I'm trying to figure out why someone doesn't setup a "company" to do this transfer. It's the same idea just skips the peer 2 peer transfer as the $$ would go to the company and the company cuts you a check minus a fee.

Yes, 1.9% fee I believe.

It is not much better for None US residents . If our accouts are held in $US then we cant withdraw either, unless we convert it into a different currency with the correspondign exchange charges.

bigloser, just deposit to Pinnacle and some other trustful bookies, scalp a bit until you wager at least once the whole amount and simply withdraw to your bankaccount. It is stupid to give to neteller the fees for a reason which is out my control. If I have to pay somebody I prefer to pay the bookies.

Whats going on at other forums (=4) is that U.S. people are transfering funds to non U.S. people and then transfering that money into the U.S. players poker account charging 3% after the 1.9%. Now some people who were processing the tranfers have had their neteller temporary locked due to the 50-60k in tranfers in one day.
Most people are still trying to do this because of the money they are making.
I did one today for a small amount of 300. Talking via MSN messenger it went smoothly and took about 15 mins.

I did this for one American, receiving his Neteller balance then doing an account-to-account sportsbook transfer. It was no problem at all. No problems with my Neteller account but the amount was well under the 50-60K mentioned here.
