Serena made me a nice wad of cash throughout this tourny as a u-dog in most matches. Wound up with even odds on her in beating Vaidisova yesterday. Early line:

Serena +200
Sharapova -250

I think that line will move a bit before the final. I give an edge to Sharapova in that unlike Vaidisova who Serena just beat, she's got both youth and experience on her side. She won't be intimidated and Serena's fitness is still a question.

All that being said, with the line where it is now - you have to take Serena.

Sharpova is the best player in the world no doubt, if she wins this it will be a long year for the rest of the players as she is very ready to dominate the game. I do not see many threats out there either except Serena is she stays in shape.

I'm rooting for the Gorilla. Both of these girls have played absolutely dreadful tennis throughout the tournament and they should both consider themselves lucky to be in the final. I can't wait for Justine Henin to come back.

Can't stand Sharapova and her robot-like game, but I'd be surprised if she lost. Earlier post about her dominating this year looks right on. The only players that can beat her are older and always injured. How many times will they show the dad in the stands (for both players).

Talk about dominance by Serena in this finals match! Williams seemed really mad every time Sharapova even won a set. I doubt we will get the value on Serena like we did in this tourney the of this year.
