Default Did everyone seem to forget that the AFC is the dominating conference?

Why are so people in love with the Bears here?

Did everyone forget about how the AFC kicked the NFC's ass this season?

    (0) NFC teams went 4-0 vs AFC
    (1) NFC team went 3-1 vs AFC

Only one NFC team managed to do (better)than 2-2 vs AFC!!!!

    (3) AFC teams went 4-0 vs NFC
    (11) AFC teams were 3-1 or better..

only 4 AFC teams managed to do worse than 2-2 vs NFC (HOU-CLEV-DEN-OAK)

NFC is a very weak conference

Not that's it totally relevant....but in MLB the AL was also dominant over the NL and in the NBA the West was also domiant over the East. We both know how that turned out.

With the NL and the East winning in their respective leagues. Maybe its a turning point for the recent weaker Conferences/Leagues.

I think people are forgetting that the Bears are 15-3 more than that AFC vs NFC stuff.

A ugly 15-3, but yes, 15-3 none the less.

Maybe they can keep the smoke and mirrors going for one more game, with the Grossman play they have been getting lately.

    img,

The AFC has been the superior conference for several years now, yet look at the last few Super Bowls! New England failed to cover against both Carolina and Philadelphia, and it took some divine intervention (or at least the referees) for Pittsburgh to win the game let alone cover last season. The point is once the Super Bowl rolls around you could pretty much toss regular season interconference results out the window.

I think I am going with Indy here, they have so many weapons too.

Team with better record (reg and playoffs) has won almost every SB. But Grossman and manning scare me.

Shietty QB vs the Choke Artist.

    Tough decision.

Did anyone forget Manning is not the Manning of before and Bears D will make Manning pay for every mistake he makes. I already have 500 on Bears ML and plan on adding to that in the coming days.

But, please, keep betting on Indy so that I can get that ML line to +250.

The top 4 teams are all in the AFC, if that means anything. If you make a list of the top 16 NFL teams, 2/3 to 3/4 should be AFC teams. We are at the peak of AFC dominance right now. But, I see the pendulum slowly swinging with Cowher leaving Pitts & the Pitts OC going to Ariz. What NFL HC wants to face Dungy, Belichick, Shannahan, Billick, etc over and over again? Flee to the NFC and play a lot of creampuffs like Holmgren (I'm joking, kinda, he looks like a creampuff.).
