    Default Jets/Dolphins what I see...

I am not sure this is a repeat of the Titans...

After looking at the stats... Maybe a close game! I am just telling you what I see after going by the numbers. The Jets will need to attack by the air. Sanchez will need to cut down on mistakes. They will have to develop some runs to open up the pass, not sure if this happens..

On the other hand the Dolphins will need to tackle much better. It looks like they can stop the run, their weaknesses come in their secondary... We might have a much closer game than I thought at first look...

At this point I have no real opinion anymore...might be a nice game to tease......if anyone actually has some stats or facts please drop a line... G.

Jets D will keep the Dolphins contained quite well. Jets shut down the high powered offense of the Saints last week. Not sure how the Dolphins will score on offense. Dolphins may be able to run the ball, no quite sure tho. Jets 23 Dolphins 17.

Forgot to add I think Sanchez will make enough plays to get the Jets the win. Jets D may also put some points up tonight themselves.

Fish can get within 1 game of first place in the AFC east after an 0-3 start.

Miami will find a way to win this.

    26-16

Ok I only picked the Fish a couple weeks ago on MNF against the Colt. Yes, I got it wrong but you watched the game right? 45 min to 15 min possession time?

Yes, I did predict them to kick Buffalo's ass last week. Who didn't call that? That was as easy picking Indy last night.

Anyway, will it be easy? No. 2 rookie QB's and Miami at home with a chance to get into the race after an 0-3 start. Ronnie Brown, Rick and the Wildcat. Parcels won't allow them to lose this one

No! I had a successful baseball thread/system this summer and between answering pm's, e-mails and trying to get people to just follow the system, it became a pain. I am just going day by day now. My baseball thread is still in my signature... GL G.

It seems that way JJ... But who knows if they open it up for MNF... I just keep thinking when the Dolphins played the Colts on MNF or SNF...whatever it was the way the phins controlled the ball... I might play the dog here...would be a reverse of course for me!

Both teams seem decent so they shall use caution and management in a big division game instead of assault plans much like Fla Saturday. Under looks good in a pretty well played game. (Who knows if that will happen?).

In Miami we should have a great MNF... I doubt the Titans will be on MNF for a long time! Do not tell me they are on again this year!

would be shocked if the jets lost and either team scored 20. Jets can stop the run and their blitz will lull henne into a comma. Miami is better off starting pat white in this game and most likely he will play most of the second half after henne throws 2 INTS and fumbles. Yes its farfetched but watch

Did any of those stats include the Fins having to deal with Braylon Edwards. That will help open up the running game. Rex Ryan will also have a game plan to stop Ronnie Brown and put pressure on Henne. I love that the jets got there loss out of the way last week.

    Jets -2.5 1 unit

It's funny how everyone states that the defense will be strong and their not sure how Miami will score yet the totals people post are all in the 40's. What is it about sportsbettors and the dificulty with taking the under? It's like we are all programmed to assume high scoring games. I think this is the first time this year that the total going to 3 actually makes a difference. Both teams have very solid defenses and I don't think that either team is going to give up ball control to start airing it out, especially with two rookie quarterbacks and the mistakes the jets QB made last week. Barring a bunch of defensive touchdowns this game should be very low scoring and I would be concerned that if the Jets do win it would be by three or less. I wouldn't be surprised if this ended up in the low teens for both teams with the Dolphins winning outright. This game is not nearly as easy as last night's Colts game. It appears that way at first but I have to give some weight to Miami's defense and running attack as well as homefield.

2 weeks ago against Indy was a great game.

It should be a rule that Miami are on MNF at least 3 times a year

I do not get to see Miami alot...did see them against the colts... They played with alot of heart but with horrible tackling and a very bad secondary...

They are only on cause they had a good record last year. Sure it was agood game- explain to me how a team that has the ball the entire game still loses

their secondary is horrible and thats the difference in the game, Sanchez will be able to make a FEW plays while henne will make none, zero, ziltch no doubt about it. I just dont see HOW miamis secondary sucks all they have to cover is for less than 3 seconds because their pass rush is so good

Not sure we are looking at the same stats! Miami has been great against the run..their secondary pass wise is letting up all the yards...over 240 a game...

Do I like winning cash more than I like the Dolphins? Yes
Sanchez is still a Rookie on the road for the 2nd straight week. A big stage tonight South Beach Style MNF Live. It's mind boggling to me the way his name keeps getting mentioned. He's a rookie with a lot of bumps in his future . Same with Henne. Nobody has seen enough of either of them in their Pro Uniform to make an accurate assesment for tonights game They both are Pro's now (so leave the College talk in the locker room next to the dirty jock straps) . I call it even, worst/best case.
Yes, the Jets have a good 'D' but so does Miami. Edge Miami just because of home field.
Coaching - Edge Miami - Sparano's already proven based on last year. Yea i know some say weak sch last Year. But it is what it is.

Running game - Ernormous edge to Miami. Wildcat or Smash Mouth
    O-Line - Again edge Miami.
Secondary - No doubt Jet's get this one.
    Special teams - Even.
Miami lacks a "big time" receiver. So do the Jet's.
Time of possesion is going to wear out the Jet d-line. Can you say Oxygen? IV Drip?
The Jet's are not a quick score team so if you can't get your 'O' on the field you lose.

    Im taking the points
    Good luck either way

First time post................. couldn't agree more with jpete, it's going to be a low scoring game with the Jets probably taking it by a TD.
