I would bet with them in the future if I see a suitable opportunity. I would say the same thing for other bookies as well. SBR has rated VC at A-. Everything looks good but shit happens. There's no guarantee.

I used them back in the neteller days. They paid fairly quickly and I never had an issue. Once neteller was done so were they. Haven't played with them since.

Pommie book with Pommie tactics. They closed my account some time ago. Good old Victor has been doing very badly as of late and started chasing 10 year old debts:

I remember VC from the "Phone Only" days.

My first offshore account was with Bowmans...another English book. Then they got out of the US citizen business-----I would imagine VC is solid.

This one is from the BetFair forum some time ago:
Quote:
A typical bet placed on Chandler's web site

Click on the horse's price (10/1) - enter Ģ500 win

wait a minute while the bet is referred to their traders

receive message 'bet cannot be accepted exposure is too high' - no clue as to acceptable exposure

reduce bet to Ģ400

wait a minute while the bet is referred to their traders

receive message 'bet cannot be accepted exposure is too high' - no clue as to acceptable exposure

reduce bet to Ģ300

wait a minute while the bet is referred to their traders

receive message 'bet cannot be accepted exposure is too high' - no clue as to acceptable exposure

reduce bet to Ģ200

wait a minute while the bet is referred to their traders

receive message 'bet cannot be accepted exposure is too high' - no clue as to acceptable exposure

reduce bet to Ģ100

receive message 'bet cannot be accepted - odds are not current'

Clear betting slip - click on horse's new price (9/1) - enter stake of Ģ100 and click place bet

wait a minute while the bet is referred to their traders

Message appears - 'Bet is acceptable' - Hoorah - Hoorah for Victor

Click Accept

Message appears 'Bet not placed you must respond quicker'

Click Place bet again

wait a minute while the bet is referred to their traders

Message appears - 'Bet not accepted as race is off'

A 100 Euro limit at VC bet is great. After 2 weeks and roundabout fifteen 100 Euro bets, they put me on a 120 seconds delay and after this they donīt let me bet 50 Cent. Crazy book.

Only speaking for myself of course, but one of the quicker books when it comes to limiting you. Remind me very much of Stan James in fact. Not the kind of book you'll want a long-term relationship with, as that of course can only mean one thing; You're losing.
