Default Do you guys officially close your accounts if you're done with a book?

...or just withdraw all of the balance and leave it open?

    What do you guys think?

    What is "closing" it?

What would be the advantage or the point?

it's not like closing your bank account.

don't see the point in calling the book and say "Can you close my account?"

I still have my old Bet$3.65 account and, of course, my Pinny account. I'll keep my accounts open in the hopes that one day the freedom to wager online will arrive on these shores. In the meantime, it sure does suck.

When VIP merged with some of their skins I just stop using the accounts I had with the skins.

Then later their live chat bitched me out for not closing my other accounts and that they would lock my funds if I didn't call up to close the other ones.

Then again, they're incompetent, so FWIW...

No. As far as I know my accounts are still open. I can still log into Pinnacle and watch the dynamic lines refresh.

It shoudnt be too hard to have them reopen your account or create a new one.

I know when Partypoker banned US players I closed the account in hope I could get a good deal reopening if they allowed Americans at some future... Looking back on it now I not holding out much hope...

I found that if I bet long enough the account just kind of closed itself.
