Well they were ranked due to last year's performance and they did beat the Florida was were the National Champions last year.
The problem is not the QB, it's the coach -> Houston Nutt
When you don't practice the passing game, but instead you mostly run running playings or gadget plays, wildcat etc, your QB will not be able to perform.
Just like I posted a bit ago... In a few years Nutt will take Ole Miss back to the cellar were they belong. Snead is a better QB than he's showing, but he will only get worse over time under the current staff.
I feel sorry for the kid, because he does have talent, but by watching him against S. Carolin and today against Bama, you'd think he was at best avg.

after seeing them play on the last tv game... I knew it would be men against boys today and it was. Alabama is the fastest team on defense I have seen. And on offense they do not make to many mistakes.... Ole Miss is a little better than Vandy though!

Hopefully the same reason why we won't have a Ohio St v Michigan National Championship game like we almost had a few years ago. Nobody wants to see a repeat of a regular season game in-conference game.

Snead doesnt have NFL strong arm or accuracy. Hes just like most SEC QB's Cant do it in the NFL. All other Conferences have great NFL QB's. Just look at all the busts besides Cutler.
