Default For non-U.S. players - Neteller irregularities

I've been exchanging a number of PM's on this topic so I think it's time to promote it to the main forum. Just wondering what irregularities non-U.S. players might have to report.

    Here's what I've got.

Wager Web e-mailed me saying my most recent Neteller payout request couldn't be processed due to Neteller's new policies on transferring funds to or from the United States. They processed my Thursday withdrawal normally but then for Friday's, I got that message. Although I am not in the U.S., and although Neteller is still showing as both a deposit and withdrawal option on the website, when I phoned I was told that I indeed could not withdraw funds that way and that, "Neteller will not be working with any sportsbooks any more."

As far as that blanket statement goes, I would rate my confidence in the source as low. However I feel confident he knew what he was talking about specifically with regard to WW's intentions re Neteller. They do offer payout alternatives (all involving unfortunate currency conversion issues in my case.)

After that disturbing call, I randomly phoned The Greek. They are still processing Neteller transfers as normal for non-U.S. accounts. The person I spoke had no indication that that would change.

Hollywood denied my attempt to deposit via Neteller last week. Neteller is not currently showing as an option for either deposit or withdrawal on the website, and the people I have spoken to have said they are not going to use Neteller - for anyone - any time soon.

BetRoyal tells me they won't be able to pay out by Neteller any more but will still take Neteller deposits from non-U.S. customers. They offer payout alternatives, **, Check and wire.

    Nothing unusual about this.

I know, Mad. That thought crossed my mind too.

Caracalla, what day did you do a Neteller transfer with Trojan?

I did do a deposit to Canbet on Thursday. It was business-as-usual.

It seems like it was right at the end of the week that irregularities started to pop up. Like I said, my Thursday WagerWeb payout was fine but Friday there was a problem. Also, I did a deposit to Hollywood on Tuesday but when I went to reload on Thursday, they wouldn't take it.

It seems like dominoes started to fall late in the week. Hopefully there won't be many more.

I have been waiting for a neteller withdrawal to my UK bank account for 6 days now, which isn't enough time to become alarmed about it yet, but is longer than it usually takes. I am a bit concerned but trying to ignore it for a couple more days.

Not atm, No. Sucks. Have no money there, but was interested in playing there and asked. Stayed away of course.

I withdrew from Betcris on Friday morning, and was surprised when the funds were not in my Neteller account several hours later. I spoke with CS that night and was told it would processed right away, but again there was no movement. Turns out there was a bit of a mixup, and by Saturday morning (About 26 hours after the initial request) the funds were in my account. No cost as well, as I assume this was because my request had been initiated on "Free Friday".

Not a big deal, but much longer than usual in terms of payout time. I just figured they must be busy as all hell in light of recent events.

Bodog told me that while they are not accepting Neteller deposit anymore, they will see process payout from previous Neteller deposit through Neteller.

Did a VIP Neteller deposit today. Business-as-usual.

Spoke to Trojan. The guy said nothing has changed for non-U.S. accounts. I didn't try a transaction. I've got a few bucks in there and I found a great line on the INDY total so I went all in. I might take a payout tomorrow if it wins.

It was kind of a funny conversation. I said I had been monitoring the news and heard some things were up in limbo at Trojan. He said, "If you're Canadian, you have nothing to worry about here."

    "Uh . . . good . . . " I said tentatively.

Suddenly he realized what he had said and he started blurting, "I mean, not that anyone else has anything to worry about here blah, blah, blah . . . "

    Okay dude.

I'm not wondering about ATM, I'm wondering if they still pay to Neteller or not.

My neteller money arrived this morning. 7 days to the same bank they use in the UK, which is slower than Santo reported, but maybe they process his faster.

Regarding WagerWeb - I just phoned them to arrange an alternate payout method and they now tell me I can still use Neteller. Although my Friday payout was cancelled (and the guy I spoke to on the weekend confirmed that WagerWeb would not be using Neteller anymore PERIOD), they took a new 2K request for today.

She said I should have my funds by 3 o'clock so there is nothing to do but wait and see what happens, I guess.

I know man. That's why I confirmed so carefully. They still gave me the same answer. They went above and beyond to get me the wrong info on this one.

Not quite out of the woods with WagerWeb. Yesterday's 2K payout was handled fine so I requested another today.

    Just got this e-mail:

    Dear Mudcat:

The following is to inform you that we are not able to process your Neteller payout due to we processed $2000 yesterday.

Wagerweb has a 10-year record of prompt payouts. However, with the loss of popular payout processors, Neteller, Citadel, **********, SP and Moneybookers for US players we are asking players to limit their payout requests to one every seven days .

This new policy is being enacted in order to ensure ALL players are able to request and get payouts in a timely manner until new processors are added.

Rest assured we anticipate this is a short-term and temporary policy change. New methods are being worked on and will be available very soon.

Please be patient and expect your payout request to be processed with 7-10 days of request.

We appreciate your support and understanding.

If you have any problems do not hesitate to call our Customer Service Department at : 1-866-371-9835.

    Regards,

    Ericka Simms
    WagerWeb.com Accounting Department Assistant

I phoned them and they confirmed it is for real - for all customers, not just U.S.

Good thing I already got most of my cashout done and only need a couple more payouts. I had 24K there at the start of it. With their 2K max on Neteller payouts, it would have taken 12+ weeks under these conditions. I hope nobody is stuck in that situation.

This is shameful. I love it how books don't understand that the money belongs to the players and should be available on demand.

Guess what now, 3 days after Neteller sent me an email to tell me they received my memberwire request, I realised to my horror that my money is still with them. They haven't even processed it. Can we trust them anymore?

I just did a withdrawal from Pinny to my Neteller acct and the money was there in about 30 mins. I moved the first portion of it over to my neteller atm card and just got home from the atm. Everything working well still.

I also requested a withdrawal from Mansion and am still waiting for that to hit my neteller acct.

Since Neteller withdrawn from the US market, I have made 2 distinct EFT withdrawals and I had no problem at all with either of them.

Regarding the bookies I use, I only have a problem with Sports.com removing Neteller as a payment option but besides that everything is as business as usual.

I can't complain. I guess the post-superbowl era will be the tell-tale sign of the industry's health...

    Btw, I am in Canada.

Mansion withdrawal hit my account at 3AM this morning. I thought they might have a slow down with the recent news but apparently not.

So far everything has been business as usual but I'm not about to leave money sitting in Neteller for long.

Regarding that letter from WagerWeb about payout slowdowns. I just got 2K payouts from them 2 days in a row so perhaps they have sorted out the problem.
