Default Is this why all electronic bank deposits have ceased?

Have Citadel (echecks) and Bodog (electronic bank transfers) put things on hold because of the Neteller arrests? So they are the ones that are unwilling to allow US deposits via these methods.

Or does anyone think it is because the US banks are no longer allowing these transactions to take place?

I seriously hope it is the first possibility. Since if it the second, I would expect that a lot of banks may also close our accounts.

    Any thoughts?

There gone for good right now bud.

I don't think see them coming back in the capacity they once were anytime soon either. I think books are going to have to be a bit creative in the future in order to even explore these types of funding options.

I agree Dan. But do you think it is the books that are scared to use them now or do you think it is the US banks that are not allowing them anymore?

I tend to think that the books are scared because the timing of this with the Neteller fiasco seems too close to be a coincidence. What do you think?

I don't think the books are scared of using them at all. It's the processing companies that are scared.

Sorry, that's what I meant. So you do think that it stems from that end, at least right now, and not the US banks?

I'm just concerned that I'll get some phone call all of a sudden from my bank telling me that they closed my account because of EFT's to Bodog/Cris.

the only thing i'd be worried about is getting a certified letter from the irs auditing you.

thats could be very well happen if these payment processor continue to take US transactions from gaming companies.

I am still getting direct *************** transfers from my book to my US Bank account. IS this odd at this time or is everyone still getting them. Seems to transfer from the book's bank to my bank in the US would be an issue. Glad it is working though

I work in a bank. Most really aren't aware of the situation, and probably won't be taking any action until the final regulation comes out. Individual banks may be deciding to get an early jump, or there may be some other quirk causing problems.

I'm guessing *************** is affecting only the largest players right now. Your *************** went through sportsbook.com, which seems to deal more with ************ than ***************. Sites like neteller, poker stars, and bodog probably do a much higher volume in *************** and could be the reason these were targeted first. The rest being cut-off is probably in the works, I would think.

I want to know what method is so top secret from this article:

It's still not that hard to make a deposit at a book. Find a good non-US friend, send him the money by wire, let him make a deposit at Mansion and then make him transfer the money from his Mansion account to your Mansion account. Don't know which other books offer this convenient buddy transfer system but that's a way to make deposits at books.
