The good news
- If your money is in books, you're ready to go.
- If you recently accepted a bonus, the time it takes to complete the rollover works in your favor while books figure out new payment options.
- We know the best and most reliable books out there, unlike most bettors.
Add yours. This list better be long, because this place is one depressing read these days.

More good news:
"Bankroll" is no longer an amorphous or theoretical concept that you are free to ignore or violate. What's in the books is what you've got. You ain't taking any out or in for a while. Start handicapping, and grow it for when the sun comes out again.

Exchange betting- with razor thin juice- might become massive.
Diciplined, consistent scientific wagering in; distractions such as arb- middles- obssesive line shopping- out.
Pinnacle focuses on building up international market to new peaks, so upon it's return to US it's now super-pinnacle.

Jay Edgar,
GREAT POST! This practically forces gamblers to be much more disciplined if they want to stay in the game.

- A 20% bonus at WSEX even if you already had an account there.
Added advantage: Many Pinny players now playing at WSEX for a while because they have to meet 5x rollover. So at least short-term stability, which is huge right now.

dark horse,
yes this is true, although as of now there are zero ways to fund a mansion account for U.S. players...so effectively, they are useless...

The problem is an american (and chinese!!!) problem, not a worldwide problem. If USA market collaps, many many problems for little caribbean bookies, not for the bigger and european....

I believe there is a good chance that there will be a significant shakeout in the industry and many unscrupulous sportsbooks will fall by the wayside. The pool of more seasoned sports investors will not be so easily suckered into 100% bonuses, very soft lines and other policies that indicate an unsustainable business model.
Unfortunately, there could be some pain inflicted in the meantime.

bst,
probably true, which will hopefully lead to a flight to quality books, thus making those stronger (while hopefully offering more to the players such as reduced juice and free payouts)...
