    Default EMIGRATE----to Britain

All you poor Americans suffering from detox why not move to Britain, a country that welcomes all, especially gamblers.
Its lax attitude towards any type of gambling means that you will be able to gamble unhindered to your heart's content, and move money around freely.
I'm not sure whether the govts stated aim is to make it the new gambling capitol of the world, but that day surely cannot be too far away.

Better to overthrow this government, which has yours dancing to its tune as well. Neteller was supposed to be British, remember?

They attack our online activities. Why not attack theirs? We don't need to fight a war of weapons. An army of hackers would do just fine to show the government (and its corporations) who is in power when all is said and done.

Do you have to eat Yorkshire pudding and say things like "the dog's bullocks" ?

And, funnily enough, I made the opposite move.

It's bollocks, not bullocks. And Yorkshire puddings are optional.

Sorry but I am not living in a country where you are forced to pledge loyalty to a queen or thrown in a prison if you don't....

It's bad here w/o a doubt and it's probably only going to get worse, but to live under a monarchic rule is even worse.

Realistically.....Norway or Iceland may be the best places in Europe.

I've never pledged loyalty to anyone.

The only people I know of who have to do that are MP's, and it's ceremonial.

I like going to the dentist. They don't have them there right? At least not from any photos I've seen. Besides, isn't the tax rate there outrageous? Also, what't the difference, Tony Blair is George Bush's bitch anyways.

Yes i've been outside the States and even to England or Great Britain or whatever you want to call it. There is a queen there and sorry but we here in this country find the idea of having a queen ridiculous....

Anyway, i had an English prof once tell me when he was haivng dinner with his Brother in law and a group of friends who proceeded to ask him whether he would take a bullet for his mother or for his queen and he could only could choose one option...and he picked the queen. Monarchies are jokes..... If she came here....she'd be laughed at.

Strange then that the Royal Family get about 10x as much press in the USA as in the UK.

That's b/c we live in a celebirty-worship culture. I can't help what the news media here choose to report other than to ignore their stupidity.

Our Royals are great sports fans, though. Especially racing.
The Queen mother used to love a bet when one of her horses was racing.

Well they have a pretty good deal if you are moving there to bet full-time. 0% taxes on gambling whether you bet a dollar or the farm

England and Great Britain are two separate things. I would have thought that spending 21 years studying graduate degrees would have taught you at least a little geography.

The Queen is purely there as a symbolic head of state. Your head of state is President Bush. Which is more ridiculous?

Not at all. There's no tax whatsoever (that's zero per cent) TexasFan on earnings made from gambling.

P.S. Apologies to you turnip...didn't see your post. Thanks for stating the facts re: UK Taxation.

Why not stay the hell in the U.S. & just live in a state (hint: Nevada - by the way taxes there are lower, especially if you have a Corp.)where wagering is legal.......taxed but legal. Plus, winnings only taxed if they exceed "X" amount or wager exceeds "X" odds.

    Whatever.
