    Default SIA slow-paying player $16k

What is unique about this one is that the player is down since he started playing there. The player requested the first of 3 withdrawals on January 6th. SIA notified him that they were waiting for approve from ther "poker security clearance department", which is still pending.

SIA declined to give out details of this dispute to Sportsbookreview.

Yeah...my days at SIA are just about finished. Right now, I have to find a book that is safe. That leaves about 8-10 choices. I know I have been a big advocate of SIA in the past and my experiences with them have been largely positive...if someone were to ask me whether they should play with SIA...i would have to say hold on till the smoke clears. Without Neteller...who knows the problems that are going to arise with SIA.

NT or no NT SIA is not for me. Way too many horror stories in recent months.

When times were good...there were an inordinate number of problems from SIA. Who knows what we are going to hear now from them.

Justin, what is the ball park figure of the confiscations that SBR has dealt with in regards to Sportsinteraction. It has to be a staggering amount.

I haven't been tracking them. In addition to the 4 or so I reported, there was another 20k confiscation I'm still investigating. Of course, investigation is difficult since SIA usually states that "They will deal with the player in confidence", despite ignoring the players for a month before they write us.

As other people noted, SIA has repeatedly had payout issues for people not using Neteller. Swiftpay was the leading cause of them. Given SIA's lack of attention to payment solutions, I would expect payout issues to worsen with the loss of Neteller (especially SIA, but all books as well).

A couple months ago, I requested a withdrawal after having checked out their poker room for the first time a few days before. I won maybe $30 or $50 in the poker room and was leaving far more than that in my account even after the withdrawal. They told me there was a mandatory audit they had to do before they'd process my withdrawal, and wouldn't budge even after I explained that my poker winnings were trivial and I was leaving much more than that in my account. I think my withdrawal was finally processed 6-7 days after the initial request, so it wouldn't surprise me that it took them that long when things were good, that it would take longer now when things are in a state of flux.

Why do the other gambling sites protect SIA with such ferocity. Do they pay big money for advertisements or hush money? They are not discussed elsewhere. They will not let you say anything bad about them. Nobody has anything good to say about them so they are not discussed.

    An update on the case:

After SIA's investigation, his funds were placed back in his account. His previous withdrawal requests were cancelled by SIA (probably due to Neteller/Citadel changes). He then asked for a wire. Per the player, "They never made the wire... while it was sitting in my account, I tried to make back some losses and ended up losing the whole thing."

A friendly word of caution to players: if a book is slow-paying you, don't gamble with the money.

How do you lose $16k betting $500 a pop? At least that's there limit on US sports sides and MLs and only $200 on totals.

    Wow!

FWIW I requested a check from them last week and received it today.

Their limit on NFL sides is $1100 and NFL totals I believe is $550. Either way if he was playing poker or the casino their limits are high enough he could easily lose that.
