He did, only guy I ever met that could do it and he still insists he can beat them if he went back to Vegas.

Actually this is not true. If you find a great pay out video poker machine and play perfect poker you have a real shot. I have hit dozens of jp's in my play at various casinos. Mostly at trump, where I play joker wild and 5 of a kind is a jack pot. That is a rare machine, most you need a royal. I sometimes hit three or four jp's on a machine like that in one weekend of play. Two years in a row I have had winning years and needed to report income to the government. Also had many other years of winning. The secret is the right machine and perfect play.
I am not saying you will win all the time, you will not. But, you have a real shot at video poker with the the correct circumstances.

Listen this is what I know. If you want to play video poker here are the rules. First make sure the casino you play at is regulated and will pay. Second, always check the pay out table on the machines, they differ and it is a big difference in the long run. Third, attempt to discover the percent of payout on the machine you are playing they differ too. Believe it or not in Vegas you can find poker machines that pay out 101%, they do exist. Now in AC you probably wont find any of them I never did. But, there is a huge difference between 91% pay out and 95%. And last you must play perfect or near perfect poker and that gets difficult when you are at a machine for 8 to 10 hours and get fatigued. I sometimes make mistakes after a long shift. It is just like working. And I play so incredibly fast that it is simple to make a mistake. And remember each draw is usually 5 bucks for me, or more. The secret is to win the small pay outs when you must so you get more chances to hit the jp.
Now, slots I believe are a different animal. I disagree with fish on this one. I believe that is mostly luck. He will argue and that is his opinion. And maybe he knows more than me on this subject because I refuse to play them. They don't pull me at all.

HUH
RNG's are completely random............this is precisely why and how VIDEO POKER is beatable with the right strategy and paytable, if they were not, video poker would not be beatable or worth playing.
This is 99.9% the case with all video poker in the state of NEVADA.

Because I have never been in the company of anybody that can. Plus, I disagree with you on slots and I know you are wrong thus you play with corrupt knowledge.
Both machines are random generated the only difference is video poker requires some skill thus giving a positive random generated number a better chance in the hands of the skilled player. That advantage does not appear with a slot machine.
You get what you get with a slot, that is not true with video poker to a small extent.
That is how I know, my knowledge on the subject is superior to your knowledge. Now I will not argue this like a little girl back and forth. You can have the last comment.

First off, been playing high denomination +EV video poker for nearly 20 years, having lived most of my adult life in Vegas.......again, just stating......and know PERFECT STRATEGY for a variety of different games and have played VP and SLOTS literally throughout the entire mainland United States.
Secondly, in terms of slots, one can play a slot machine that is set to payback less than 100%(via the RNG) and still play it in a +EV mode by playing it when the bonus mode is at a significant level or the progrssive meter is at a significant level............with both, the astute slot player can figure out if he or she has an advantage and attack the play and come out ahead over the longhaul.
