as i was watching the game tonight i was thinking their defense is good.they have a complete one two punch with brett,and peterson.i know the season is young,and anything can happend,but this team kinda reminds me of the the denver bronco team that also had a one two punch of a aging john elway,and a young terrel davis.not saying they will win the superbowl,but they will be a team not to take likely.

Great protection for Favre tonight... can they keep that up for a whole season?? who knows. I still contend he won't make it through this whole season healthy.

We all though Favre was the answer last year by Week 11. Then it started to all fall apart. Thomas Jones isn't AP though, and Favre pass count should be much lower thus his arm wont fall off.

With that defense and Adrian Peterson they are certainly a factor and will likely make the playoffs.

Brett Favre is a non-factor and will soon come up with another excuse when his play undoubtedly drops offs and his INT's cost the Vikes several games.

Superbowl = pipe dream. They are the fifth or 6th best team in NFC.

The vikes have a tough schedule the rest of the year. Beside as good as AP is no player has fumbled the ball more than him in the last 2 years. Favre hasn't won a meaningful game in how long!! The vikes were shredded by Rodgers yesterday without protection. They will peak early and fold like they always do. Don't fool yourselves they aren't as good as people think. They will be hard pressed to win 10 games. Favre can only hide for so long behind AP. He played well last night but Pack has no defense and it was a special night.The vikes have had great teams many times in the past and their 15-1 team was way better than this team. They will be a one game and out in the playoffs and will only make the playoffs cause the NFC is very weak.

Brett Favre isn't good enough to win a Super Bowl anymore. I don't buy the pass defense either. They are very good, but I don't think they are complete. Seem like a good regular season team.
