Default ▒ My father is making largest wager in years on ▒

    THE BEARS this weekend..

He is extremely good with his large bets.
He only bets like this maybe once or twice a year and he is unloading on the Bears.

His main reasoning is the Saints being a dome team..

Anyone else here have strong feelings in this game?

The Bears offer value under almost any handicapping system but how the Saints are the best story in the NFL. That has to be worth something. Jordan rules perhaps...

The books really didn't know what to make this line at first, so they opened it at Bears -3 due to the home field advantage factor. Which was obviously bet down at at low as 1 in some places.

    I liked the Bears at -3 and love'um at only -2 - 2.5.

Tell your pops i'm hoping he wins IMG

Sorry I have to say Shaun Alexander tore the Bears a new ass just wait till the Dynamic Duo starts hitting those holes. Saints win in a big way.

No way Chicago QB handles New Orleans D, remember phila had some lucky big plays and if you take those plays away he did nothing.

My dad is old, has white hair, a lazy eye, chews cigars walks around with his pants falling off and listens to political radio programing all day (mostly about cuba and castro) he's never bet on football, though he loves it. But the son of a bitch did hit the fantasy 5 here in FLA for 38k. I don't know why I wrote this just felt like sharing. Good luck to pops IMGV.

Guess who can't take a joke...again. How miserable do you have to be to get upset over that lighthearted jab?

No you are a religious fanatic...anyone who has a quote that says "israel baby, israel" is a religious lunatic...sorry but that is just the case. It's a religious state...you aren't the least bit atheist or a free thinker. Stop trying to reinvent yourself into this learned and wise individual who is open to ideas. You have like 3 posts and are obsessing over Israel when noboby even brought it up. You got called out and then had nothing to say in the thread b/c you knew you would be destroyed. Here, i am going to "trust but verify" that you are nothing but a parasite who uses my tax dollars. Enjoy them while you can b/c they won't be around much longer.....

buddy- lets face it- your a loser who can't debate on any issue- neither Ira nor i am the problem on this forum- you are. When your ignorance is exposed your only possible reply is "Fu*k off"

No wit, no humor- nothing except red faced frustration.

You're a sad, lonely man dude.

In championship games- the better defensive team( pts allowed/reg season) has covered approx 75% since 1970.

I hate to see anyone lose his biggest bet in years, but I think Saints win EASY! The Bears defense is a shambles right now, and I could easily see New Orleans scoring 35 points here. Can the Bears match that firepower? Methinks NOT!

Good Luck to Mr. imgv93 though

Depending on how much your dad is wagering...he may want to hedge himself.

Appreciate the advice- but i'll take my chances.

shootout scene in taxi driver still the most honest depiction of real violence ever filmed.

Sports Illustrated just iced it for the Bears. The Saints are on the dreaded cover. Its over Bears win.

But I'm still betting on the Saints.

I look at NE@SD. Turnovers decided.
I look at IND@BAL. Turnovers decided.
I look at PHI@NO. Refs decided.
    That leaves SEA@CHI.

One of four games last weekend was not decided by turnover or refs. How am I supposed to cap this sh*t?!
