Default Petyon Manning > Brett Favre

Manning will break a lot of Favre records. At the end of both of the players careers, I think Manning will said to be the better player of the 2.

I mean, when it comes down to it, there are 4-5 QBs you want w/ the ball w/ 2 minutes to go in the game or even half. manning drove Indy down the field easily for a TD against Seattle. I know that's just one game, but he has proven YEAR after YEAR after YEAR he is the best.

You can guarantee that he will be getting 3500+ yards and 20 TDs. Never injured and doesn't miss any games. 1 Superbowl title and maybe more to come.

    He is the best

have to bump this...again Manning drives the team down and dominates every defense in less than a minute

Right now, stats wise, obv. Favre is better, but in 10 years, Manning will be the best of all time

What about Kyle Orton leading the Broncos on a 98 Yard drive?

what Favre has done is astounding to say the least, but when it comes to the end of both careers, Manning will have more yards and TDs IMO and WAY WAY WAY less Turn Overs (INTS)

It's a long season, I wouldn't get too excited about beating the 49'ers.

Whats the point. The bottom line is these 2 clowns have underachieved. They have 1 ring each whoopy. Brady won 3 with less to work with. Favre blew the Denver game. Manning beat a Bears team that had Grossman. To be honest here Manning hasnt done nothing except that Superbowl year. He lost so many playoff games where his team was supposed to win. Favre choked enough in th eplayoffs as well. They both are clowns. Last point none of these 2 clowns will win another superbowl ever again.

And Collinsworth just pointed out my point you need to win more superbowls.

Favre wins with crap teams and has had the grit to play 19 years I don't see Manning lasting nearly that long even though he has a better team around him. Favre got 10 wins out of the POS Jets last year let's see Manning do that!!!

People creaming their duds over Mannings season already? Come back when they face teams who can at least remotely defend the pass. Jags, Dolphins, Cards, Seahawks, Titans - I could throw for 250 against those jokers with a decent O-Line protecting me!

Kind of like arguing religion in a way. One thing I agree on is that both Need to be on the field Today. I'm glad Favre came back.

favre didn't have the offense that manning has had to say that manning is better by yards and tds is kinda silly

Both are great QB's. Favre gets the nod for the longetivity factor.

As a Jets fan I can honestly say Favre was the reason the Jets didn't win MORE games last year. He cost them the playoffs, and the players called him out on it after the season ended. That's the reason he was so quick to retire, because he didn't want to come back to the Jets where he knew he wasn't wanted.

I feel more comfortable with Sanchez behind center of my Jets than I did with Favre.

Favre has taken on a better roll with the Vikings though. He has finally realized he is not the star anymore and is playing a role rather than trying to be the hero. Might just be a matter of time before the hero in him comes out and he ends up costing his team with INT's, but we'll see.
