    Default Matchbook update...

Matchbook has been under attack again. As a precaution today, they are only allowing known IPs to access the site. This may interfere with some users, especially those with dynamic IP addresses.

If you are having connection problems, you need to contact Matchbook with your IP address and username.

Hope the site works well today
It was off for a bit yesterday but came back online but it seemed that people were scared to put some bets in because the in-game liquidity was poor

but man was the market shit today.. at 1258 pm, there were tons of games that had only 2$ available to bet...

what happened to the good old days of matchy when at 1245 pm, there would have been 46,498$ on each side..

Yes, the action is off a lot there. And, these heavy-handed tactics they are using just discourage players. They need to do something totally different that just ban everyone and then make us beg our way back in.

    Thumbs up Matchbook

Once I sent in my IP, Matchbook has run smoothly.

My "account was blocked for particularly high bandwith usage." I had one browser open, running firefox, logged into matchbook, babysitting my offers.

    1. We are gambling for money here. If a few cents of bandwidth is this big a problem of MB, perhaps they should reconsider their priorities. (As I said, I was NOT doing anything special, I was merely logged in for the 2 hours before the games began).

    2. Even if these pennies worth of bandwidth pose some kind of horrible problem for them, the solution is NOT to block my account 5 minutes before NFL Sunday goes off.

This happened to me 10 minutes before the NFL game last Monday night as well. They have got to sort this out.

In all, I have now had to email them my IP address 10 times in the past two weeks. I understand they may be having DDOS problems, but I assume they intend to stay in business as a sportsbook and giving their customers continued access seems like a good idea.

I usually have 3-4 browsers open watching Matchbook offers (at least on the weekends), and have never had a problem.

You might want to see if your computer is a zombie.

Sent IP's for both home and work computer last week - back up straight away.
Now matchbook is down for me again on both IPs.
    Will repeat the process again

Great lines and the problems to some extent are out of their control - but other good books don't have these problems.
I like MB but at the moment you can't call it an A book.
