Pinny is gone so which one is the 'ROCK' now
CRIS
OLY
WSEX
Of those 3 I would say Spiros would be the last man standing

It would seem like Bodog would have the most "power", but that could mean that is who the gov't is targeting next.

My guess would be BoDog will be the next to go. They advertise quite a bit in the US which makes the Feds look at them.

Bodog and Sportsbook do the most advertising in the US. But I think Cris has the most agents doing business on US soil. 1 of those 3 will be the next targeted, I think.

I think Bodog is an unlikely next target as they are now located in Antigua

WSEX would be my choice because they operate 100% legally in a country that actively supports online gambling. Additionally their ownership stays close to home. Since I don't see anyone getting arrested if they stay in Antigua, they get my vote.
Jamaica and Costa Rica scare me a bit, but both other listed books are certainly solid, large operations with a history of rolling with changes well.

I am not 100% sure running a sports betting operation in Jamaica is legal. Spiro has had issues with them before, but he obviously is still going. Sports betting is barely a blimp in Jamaican economy since only one large operation. If US puts pressure on Jamaica they don't have a lot of incentive to protect one operator.
Understand this is just speculation, but at this point I feel like any books is at risk.
Costa Rica has a lot of reason to protect large sportsbook industry, but they are also pretty close with US government.
Antigua has a "regulated" sportsbook industry. They go head to head with the US on WTO on betting related issues. As long as WSEX ownership and management stays in Antigua, I think they are pretty safe. Government isn't going to allow US to swoop in and take anyone.

I agree lakerfan on what you are saying there, I heard that thegreek and BetJamaica have a license through the Jamaican government and I think that they pay big money to stay operating. I think they would have already would have shut it down by now if they were doing stuff that was illegial there. Somehow I get a feeling that the ones in the Carribean are okay, its the ones in Europe are having the problems. I certianly believe that Antigua and Costa Rica have an awful lot at stake in this, they have big money involved and I believe that there will be a deal eventually made between the WTO and the US on this issue. I believe the countries that regulate it best way is going to somehow reach a deal with the United States one way or another. I believe the next one that gos should be BetUs if you ask me.

I say it BETUS and they pocket all monies after the SB is my guess. Will say some sort of excuse that the US Gov. confiscated all there funds and not pay anyone.
Scary stuff around the corner.

I don't disagree, but sub "Pinnacle" in there and you quote about 50 people on this board a month ago.
