Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Probably frustrates handicappers for this to happen on Saturday afternoon too.

Done in Philly, but you know there will be several teams lining up to get him once he's officially gone. Personally I think his cancerous presence outweighs the skills he brings, but I'm sure many coaches and GMs will feel otherwise.

Looks like Philly is packing it in. With McNabb throwing 50 times a game, with no running game. They suspend their best Wideout.

yeah, he's just a really selfish player, and although talented, he brings the Eagles down with his behavior...

Who is going to want this guy? Isn't he already the highest paid WR in the league? Who can fit this guy into the cap? Much less fit his ego into the locker room?

I'll admit T.O. has some of the maddest skills between the lines, though. He just isn't worth the baggage.

ESPN is reporting that a brawl between T.O. and Hugh Douglas helped lead to his suspension.

The idiot supposedly challenged McNabb and anyone else who might "want some".

That was on the CBS pregame as well. They are coloring Owens as a complete lunatic. Maybe Owens has some legitimate mental health problems. That's the way it sounded on TV. I just figured it was some "over the top" reporting, trying to make some tabloid news.

Anyone catch the FOX pregame? JB actually had to let out a loud wolf whistle to get those maniacs to shut the hell up at one point 3/4 of the way through the show. Those other 3 start all talking at once so nobody can make out what the hell anyone is saying. lmao. I tend to watch the CBS pregame more and more. If I want to listen to a cacauphony of people talking over each other, I'd just mute the TV and listen to my family.

I suspect that Owens is a meglomaniac (sp?)...totally self-absorbed, self-obsessed and likely believes that all the problems that happen are the fault of everyone but him.

I heard today that Douglas says no punches connected. If it was in the weight room then there were probably many players present and people most likely jumped in right away to break it up....darn!

Just read on ESPN that Owens has been suspended for 4 games, and will not return in '05.

ESPN=T.O. all the time. I think ESPN has become too much like a sports tabloid. Since I think Chris Berman is a pain in the a$$ I choose to blame him

With T.O. gone from the Eagles, the Eagles will finally get a reality check. Blame T.O. all you want, but the fact of the matter is that the Eagles can't run the ball, their defense looks like the Colts defense of last year, and Donovan McNabb has been mostly ineffective this year. McNabb is a great QB when he is also a running threat (like he was versus Washington) but his attempt to become strictly a pocket passer is not working out for the Eagles. He has thrown way too many interceptions at critical times this year!
