Default I say the Top 5 in college football rankings in one month will be?

I can honestly seeing Florida, Alambama, Texas, LSU from now to one month from now

Due to their weak schedule and soft teams,

Which will make a really funny case of new rankings. Just Imagine this top 5 poll?

    1). Boise State
    2). Cincinnati
    3). TCU
    4). Houston
    5). Iowa or Oregon

More Oregon wins the faster Boise State should move up in rankings. And if Oregon wins against USC look for Boise State to jump super high in rankings and BCS standings. Boise State is a nationwide popular team and everyone is rooting for them.

Cincinnati has a good chance to run the table

TCU has a good chance. Only team in the way is BYU

Houston looks like they could go undefeated...Hoston and their crazy gunslingers from Andre Ware, to David Klinger, to Jimmy Klinger to Kolb...these Houston QB are crazy and put up great numbers

Oregon has a tough test, but the more they win the more the underdogs move up

    Iowa is good...they play tough

BOISE STATE is going to get killed by their schedule..........THEY WILL NEVER MAKE IT INTO THE TOP 3 IN THE BCS RANKINGS..........LET ALONE TOP TWO or ONE............IMPOSSIBLE.............MA THEMATICALLY IMPOSSIBLE ACTUALLY.

The BCS standings come out OCT. 18th..........if Iowa wins their next 3 games(they could lose all three also) they would definetly make the TOP 5 in the BCS rankings.

Iowa is currently 10th in the UNofficial BCS rankings.........and this is with the stupid coaches poll having them ranked 17th(and makes up one-third of of the BCS poll).

To have Boise State FINISH in the top two in the BCS rankings is a tremendous longshot.

Like I said, it will be almost(if not) mathematically impossible for them to accomplish such a thing...........

i know it is a longshot...but read this

With Bama, LSU, Florida, and Texas playing tough teams in the next four weeks and Boise State cupcake Schedule...THey might move in the as #1 soon...

Just imagine the uproar nationwide in the media why Boise State did not make the championship game with a perfect record, a great history of always winning games.

Utah not making it cause an uproar and to this day I beleive Federal government is investigate it still maybe. Utah State Attorney General did a complaint or lawsuit against the BCS, didn't they?

So that being the case, Just imagine another lawsuit or complaint...that will be major investigations...Year after year there are always too many complaints...and Boise State not making it will cause nationwide uproar and possibility cause the BCS to collapse and most likely lead the way to a playoff structure.

These Boise State Teams can play with a lack of talent

Boise would move ahead of those teams when/if they lose if Boise played even a minutely respectable schedule. If LSU is able to win against Florida this weekend, you won't see Florida falling further behind Boise State unless LSU wins by 20 points. Don't be surprised to see USC move ahead of Boise State soon, just like Virginia Tech did.

There was an uproar because Utah actually played some good teams. Boise played one and that's all they're going to play this season. Not going to happen.

THEY HAVE NO SHOT UNLESS OREGON RUNS THE TABLE!!!!!

AS SOON AS OREGON LOSSES, BOISE STATE WILL BE MATHEMATICALLY ELIMINATED!!!!!

If one can't figure that out, they do not know CFB and how the system works.

    33% COACHES POLL

If you study this, BOISE HAS ABSOLUTELY NO SHOT AT CLAIMING A TOP TWO SPOT if Oregon losses............ZILCH.........unless at LEAST 4-5 23+ point upsets were to occur!!!!

If oregon losses, there would be a MINIMUM 4 teams that could have ONE loss and be ranked ahead of BOISE ST in the BCS standings.........and that's stating that EVERY team will have at least one loss, which may not happen.

BOISE HAS NO SHOT IF OREGON LOSSES...........THAT'S THE BOTTON LINE......unless a minimum 4-5 23+ point upsets were to occur in the to ten............ok, they have 1/30,000th of a chance if Oregon losses, let me clarify.

This is exactly why these teams will never lose out to an undefeated non-BCS team, even with one loss.

I believe the national title game is Bama/Florida vs. Texas. If Florida gets by LSU, their only remaining touchy game is Georgia on a neutral site, which they should win...then they would most likely get Bama in the SEC title game for all the marbles.

Texas' only test is a 2 loss Oklahoma who they should own this year. Even if 2 of those 3 teams end the season with one loss though, they would still play over an undefeated Boise St.

Boise St's schedule is both why they are undefeated AND won't be considered.

I just believe its a matter of time though before one of these smaller schools plays for the title again.

As soon as Oregon losses, EVERY current unbeaten team at that time should be ranked ahead of Boise State.........and probably no less than two with one loss.

I believe Boise State has a legit top ten team, but they have NO CHANCE under the current system for all practical purposes unless Oregon runs the table..........if one cannot see that, they are blinded.

I'm really hoping for a Boise State vs. Cincinnati BCS Championship game. Maybe even something like Iowa vs. USF...

that would be the end of the BCS...and soon

This game will be a war in the trenches. Ole Miss D line is damn good. I'm really looking foward to this game. I will be tailgating Saturday on campus but I will be watching the game on one of them big HD TV's that will be outside the table.
