Nothing against Pags11 but I would hope an official represenative of SBR staff doesn't extend an offer to Pags11 or anyone else. Sure let them come but no-one out there is worth being requested to come back.

Man, I really can't believe this post by you Wal. We came up here at SBR in the CFB sub forum. I always considered Pags as a bit of a mentor of mine. I will admit we had our issues from time to time, but overall I thought he was an asset to this place. Did people kiss his ass? Sure. Was it over the top? I guess. He couldn't take criticism when he had a bad year last year and that's really all there is to it. As far as having him here making selections, I'd think you would welcome him back.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear Coug's. It has nothing to do with what Pags contributes to SBR by way of traffic due to the success of his college football selections. It wouldn't matter if it were JJ Gold himself who left SBR. If someone thinks he is bigger than the site and on top of that if that same someone makes a wager with not one but two posters, regardless of the stakes of the wager and loses and instead of honoring their obligation they leave then I say bye bye. Said poster could come back on their own but I don't think SBR should actively persue Pags or any other poster.

I have no problem with Pags personally. While I don't consider him a mentor I will admit I find motivation in finishing the season with a better overall record. The guy set the benchmark and props to him for that.

Dually noted. 61% was very good last year. I had a down year in CFB, but everything since then has been unreal.

Pags had great angles and put the work in. Many highs and few lows with Pags....but the lows on the forum were pretty rocky for him and he didn't like dealing with the stuff the grief that comes with sharing something on a board. Hopefully he joins us again for foots.
