SBR Bill Dozer reports: Two Royal Sports (SBR rating D) bettors complain of payout problems.

"Hello , I’ve been trying to withdraw $2000 for the last 4 days ,i know its not panic time yet however the worrying part is the lies they tell , "ok it will be in your a/c tomorrow etc etc " , after numerous phone calls , e-mails , live chat there csd supervisor george has just informed me that after checking with accounting ,they don’t have any record of my request , what bull****, he tells me he has personally now put in the withdrawl request and i should have the money in my neteller a/c within 48 hours , if this doesn,t happen what can i do , appart from coping it up the kazoo? I have had many dealings with on-line sportsbooks and this is the first time I’ve had a problem ,I used to check with your site before opening new a/cs butI stopped, i guess i got complacent , well this is a wake up call , i won’t be opening any a/c,s in future without at least a c rating from you guys ."

"I have an account with bet royal which i opened about two weeks ago. I loaded it up with $400 using click2pay and went on a great run. My balance now is over $6,000. For the past few days i have been given the run around about payment. they are telling me since i used click2pay they have to figure out another way to pay me back other than what i had requested (bank check, western union). thank you"

It is unknown if these are isolated cases or the beginning of Royal’s latest accounting problem. Curently SBR is monitoring only the two complaints shown above.

Pags. Royal is owned by a crook that took off with player money anxd then bought betroyal. That is why everyone shits themself when the we see these.

I don't know if things have changed but Royal once threw Dozer out of their office. I know that Dozer helps many people but Royal does whatever they want to and will threaten those that talk negatively about them.

"The intimidation took place in Costa Rica, where Dozer was visiting his staff and went unannounced to the offices of Royal Sports on the same floor of the Oficentro Building as Virtual casino group owner Tej Kohli, an operator with a chequered reputation.


Kohli is alleged to be the owner of Royal Sports, according to Roberto Castiglioni, a senior executive who was previously the CEO of the site and who now runs a watchdog operation. This has been confirmed by Royal's current management.

Apparently Kohli has denied ownership and asked for the chance to make a statement to this effect but then did not do so. Royal has not denied that Mr. Kohli is involved and current Royal management has not made a statement, but it is known that he is the majority, if not sole, owner from information supplied by the former CEO..

Dozer was denied access to the Royal office, and the fireworks started when he and his companions went to a local restaurant and found their car blocked in by a large vehicle and some scary, gun-toting heavies.


Fortunately, someone sounded the alarm and these thugs were arrested without further incident by heavily armed Costa Rican police. The SBR report says, "SBR appreciates the remarkable response time and overwhelming force employed by Costa Rican police."

Bill- That was openly talked about on the forums otherwise I would not have brought it up.

Richard was actually very helpful and contacted our office to get the accounts when the wire hit.

thank god for THE watchdog.what chance would players have without someone with the balls to confront unfaid dealings.i would like to add that royal has always paid me,but if they owe you a large balance you must be patient and accept their posted payout policies which is 2500 max per neteller daily,only 2 per 7 days.the owed me $34000 and the balance is down to $24000.i should have it all by february(assuming bill hasn,t been assinated)

Weren't some emplyees of SBR almost killed an year ago by some bodyguards from Royal? Was it just a fake rumor or is it true?

no book generates more discussion than royal and i think that besides the infamous owner it is due to the payout policies.i need to make another point,after 2 neteller payouts in 7 days you must wait 7 more days to begin again.this will allow about $10000 per month if all goes well.richard told me recently(he,s always been great to me)that it is very hard to get money from royal at the end of the month.the bottom line which their policies foster is large bonuses and sometimes soft lines in return for slow payouts.everyone says keep balances low there so you cant get hurt.

Unfortunately I have to revive this topic.

On november 2nd I made a deposit at Betroyal.
During the registration procedure I could choose to have my account in euro's or dollars.
Since I'm from Europe I chose euro's.
I could only make a deposit in dollars, so I made a deposit of 500$ expecting to see my account balance showing euro's, but instead of 500$ my account balance was 500 euro's.
I sent a mail to their customer service saying that I thought their exchange rate was a bit generous and the answer they sent me was: 'Your account dollars'

Okay I thought, fair enough, I'll use a calculator. (though the account still said I had 500 euro instead of 500 dollar.)
But why give punters the option to have an account in euro's when the only thing that is euro is the euro-sign on the account balance?

That, btw, turned out to be the least of my worries.....

The rollover for the deposit + bonus + freeplay was 2400$.

After I'd wagered 2550$ I mailed Betroyal with the following wirthdrawal request:

I checked your account and you haven't met the rollover requirements yet.
The rollover that you need to accomplish is $2400 and you are still short
for $650. Please keep in mind that as per our bonus rules and regulations
wagers on money lines higher than -260 or lower than 1.38 and cancel wagers
will not count towards the accumulative bonus roll over requirement.

Failure to meet the rollover requirement will result in the loss of fee,
bonus, and any winning monies associated to either. All losing Free plays
will be charged and winning free-plays will be no action, and will be
deducted from your account. All subsequent winnings of bonuses given will
also be deducted from the account.

Nowhere in their Bonus and Withdrawal Rules they mention that "wagers on money lines higher than -260 or lower than 1.38" will not count towards the accumulated bonus.

Nowhere on the page with your rollover requirements can I read anything about wagers on money lines higher than -260 or lower than 1.38 will not count towards the accumulative bonus roll over requirement.

It clearly states:

Rollover Requirements

All specific rollover requirements must be met in order for payout to be processed.

A Rollover is the amount of action an account holder must complete to earn a bonus. A Rollover must be completed before requesting a withdrawal or the account holder will forfeit all bonuses.

Rollover is calculated based on the “X” given at the time of the particular transaction that has received a bonus. The “X” is multiplied by the 4 following items:

• The amount of the deposit
• The amount of any fee credits
• The amount of any cash bonuses
• 50% of the amount of any free play bonuses

Sample:

Customer Deposits through W.U. $1,500.00
Fees Attached $ 125.00
Bonus 10% = $150.00
Free Play 15% = $225.00 x 50% = $112.50
Net of all the above = $1,887.50
Rollover required (3X) = $5,662.50

Since I've made a deposit of 500 and recieved 15 % bonus and 10% freeplay I have more than met your requirements by wagering 2550 (2400 required.)

After I opened an account at Betroyal friends warned me of the bad reputation of Betroyal.
After some research on the Internet I indeed found horrid stories about Betroyal concerning withdrawals, but also promises that things would improve.
I trusted on that.

Unfortunately Betroyal still seems to try and trick people into losing their money instead of honouring their motto 'Paying winners since 1997'

If you refuse to pay me the money that rightfully belongs to me I will not hesitate to post on all sportsbetting forums you advertise on and report this case to SBR, EOS and other sites that discuss bookmakers and
whether they are trustworthy.

I hope you understand I'm very disappointed, since I thought Betroyal was on the way up to being part of the top 10 of bookmakers again.

I only found out about that after I had opened an account at Betroyal, though it seemed they wanted to improve their service.

Thanks, I know that now....

But I understood that Bill Dozer and others members from SBR have been able to help in the past, so -apart from warning other punters- I hope someone might be able to use his influence.

In this case they owe me $1130 (after making a $500 deposit) so it's hardly going to bankrupt Betroyal and I don't think it's worth the bad publicity now they're trying to up their profile.

Don't believe the new and improved BS. BetOnSports used that line to try to improve reputation of stiffing people. They went under and stiffed everyone.
