    Default Esb Im Watching You

Hey gamers just to let you know I spoke to ESB on 08-10 Mr Tony said they where restructuring and had started payouts on 08-08. I have been waiting for a 500.00 payout since 02-15-2004. Please tread with caution. Until they show they are of there word and start paying the many EX- ESB players owed thousands I would not take your business there. Will follow up 08-19. Stay Tuned

I have a Good sports book for two years now I've been using First FIdelity, in part thanks to sportsbook review and OSGA. I don't think I'm getting paid but more importantly is not having someone else go thru the same crap. If I,d done my home work before the 2004 season I would have known a once great book was now a bunch of gypsys on the run in Ireland. Best of luck to all gamers in 05 .

They are back in Jamaica now.

OSGA is a scam operation...PLEASE do your homework on them too before you get burnt.

First Fidelity is decent...I am just not into books started by touts.

OSGA would be like trusting Major Wager for your sportsbook ratings and support if a dispute arrises.

I haven't had a look at the OSGA site for quite awhile. It doesn't look as bad as it used to, but there are still some pretty weak books they are endorsing:

    BetonSports
    SBG Global
    BetUS
    BetPlatinum
    Royal

Without spending too much time picking these apart, I guarantee they don't meet OSGA's own published endorsement criteria #7.

7.) All payouts are to be made as promoted. (i.e. 48 hour payouts)

    I guess that should read:

7.) All payouts are to be made as promoted. (i.e. 48 hour payouts) except in cases where the sportsbook would rather not, in which case payouts are to be made if/when the sportsbook feels a hankerin'.

At least I don't see Jagbet on there anymore.

I wish I could remember some of the specific things that OSGA was busted for. There was some pretty skeevy stuff but I don't remember the specifics.

    Too many things to list...

It is just sad that they are looked upon as a legit source because naive newbies don't know any better. It just goes to show why scams are so successful in this industry.

I remember one of the complaints about OSGA was that they were in bed with Big Nasa. They were heavily endorsing BOS and BETUS, while those books were stiffing big winners.

Wasn't OSGA found to have a common phone number to one of their top-rated books? So people would phone to lodge complaints not realizing they were speaking to a manager from the book they were complaining about?

    Something like that.

I believe the NASA group started OSGA or something like that...it is a joke.

"scam" is way too harsh. They are like 99% of the sites out there, you pay the $2k a month (all upfront) and they will endorse you. Obviously a few bottomfeeder books figure thats a deal.

So be careful. Its a good idea to cross reference this site with someone else. If we rate them D+ or something and they rate them as their Gold_platnium-5star Deluxe book of the month....then you know they are really just a crappy D+ book.

I don't think that would be too harsh...if a sportsbook starts a site claiming to regulate the industry and promotes their book, that to me is a scam.

Hmm...I would agree but Idont think it went down exactly that way. Maybe we could get that OSGA guy to come over and take some questions.

Yes I know BOS son-in-law started that site and I think he was the one that passed away in 03. So they probably have to take BOS but they sure dont have to take BetUS or Royal.

man thank god for forum's like this its good place for newbies to cross reference the facts. As long as both SBR and OSGA say my present book First Fidelity is OK then thats fine by me. They did pay out witin 24hrs my 3 payouts last year (i had a real crappy 2nd half) The only thing that I didn't like was I had to shlep to the FED EX office to pick up my checks (made out from a U.S. bank) I wish I could get *************** and not have to cash there checks. Oh well at least they paid, not like my previous book ESB. $2000.00 ouch!!!

First Fi is an excellent book. They have been under consideration for an upgrade to A- for a while. Unless they shoot themself in the foot in the next few weeks I think they will make it to the A group. They are a trusted group here in Costa Rica I can assure you of that.
