Pinnacle lowered limits?
Pinnacle has lowered my limits on early NBA sides to $1,176 and early NBA totals to $588.
They've lowered my same day circled side and total limits to $5,882 and $1,176.
My same day regular side and total limits down to $23,529.41 and $5,882.35.
And my same day blue side limits down to $35,294.
At Pinnacle. I just didn't think Pinnacle of all places would do that.
Has anyone had any experience with Pnnacle having done this?

the only time i ever felt pinny lowered my limits. was while back betting on tennis, they had my tennis limits as low as $109 at one point on a few tournys.
had my snooker limits cut too i believe, thru out one of the tournys they offered ( i believe it was one of the masters)

I've never heard of it in the NBA before but they do have different opening limits for different people in sports that have a low volume.

It would appear that red circled NBA games have different limits depending upon whether they're early or same day lines. And as I mentioned my early circled limits are down to $1,176 and $588 for sides and total.
That's just unbelievable to me.

You must be beating them up. I'm down a bunch to them; and needless to say, my limits are still sky high. Books seem to only limit professional winners or extremely lucky squares.

yeah, I'd definitely say that's a compliment...for Pinnacle to lower your limits, you must be one hell of a player...

Such a compliment offers exactly zero solace.

This topic has got occassional play on other forums with most people not paying too much attention.
On newer accounts, Pinnacle often offers betting limits above what their standard limits are. That accouns for these strange betting limits like $23,529.41 and $5,882.35. The regular limits are 20k and 5k. So in this case Pinnacle is lettling ganchrow play at higher than their posted limits. Granted this might be less than he could play before.
I think is strange that Pinnacle does it, but overall I don't see it being that poor. For whatever reason (generally squares) get slightly (up to 25%, generally 15% or less) higher limits.
My limits have been the standard boring limits for as long as I remember, but I have seen friends accounts that are like this.

It's not these limits which are of primary concern to me, but the circled limits. These limits they don't specify in their FAQ.
$1,176 NBA max sides and $588 NBA max totals?? At Pinnacle??

Is early in the season and they are pretty low with limits especially on overnights. You are still getting higher than standard 1000 and 500, but I understand how is tougher to get down now.

Is this particular 1000/500 standard laid out somewhere? The wager limits page is mum on the topic.

You can re-bet a minute later, giving Pinny a chance to adjust line, the limit is what they'll take at that price.

Lakerfan- Part of your answer is correct. On the funny limit prices they do allow more than normal limits. But I know for a fact that different people get different limits. For one thing I have two accounts at Pinny, one post up and one credit. Most of the time the limits are identical and are normal 10k or 30k without the cents. On some of the less bet sports my openers are 3k at one account and 1k at the other account. I've asked others what their limit is on this and they have 3k. They will let me double pop but the line does move. Pinny does not realize that the two accounts are from the same person.

Also it's not the same account that has the lower limits. In some sports is credit and others it's post up.

Very interesting Raiders. I am aware on differences in credit accounts, I was speaking in general on postup (do you know of big difference in the postup account limits?). Isn't your limit on your credit account dependent on what limit your agent is willing to let you bet at?

My credit account at Pinny has no limit per game, just a weekly limit. You are correct in that normally on credit accounts that there is a game limit as well as a weekly limit.

Sportsbooks do not play a fair game.
If you are a consistent loser, you can bet as high as you want to.
If you are a consistent winner, limits are imposed.

That is amazing Raiders, granted Pinnacle limits are high anyway, but you can get down big on any game as soon as it opens? I am impressed, must be nice to have.
