Default Anyone else feel like they've been to a funeral??

I know this sounds horrible, but I have been bothered by this all day at work. I know that JJ would tell me to move on and find another hobby but I seriously have been depressed all day. It's amazing how this sports gambling becomes part of our lives, at least mine anyway. oh well, all we have is our wonderful government to think for our misery

Trust me, most funerals are not this bad. This is a tough one and I doubt anyone will be able to get over it very quickly.

Oddly enough, I did go to a Funeral today, then came home to hear this news. I feel crass comparing the two, and I'm not located in the US so I'm not directly feeling as much pain as my American counterparts, but I have to admit that I considered this announcement to be a classic example of bad timing.

I had pretty much worked myself up to understand any book could go. But Pinnacle wasn't first on my list. The fact they still will be open to the rest of the world means they will keep a lot of the professional action and will still be a standard for the market IMO. But I never thought I would lose my Pinnacle account. Pinnacle was good to me. Maybe only Mansion was better, but Pinnacle was around for as long as I have been betting professionally. A daily institution in many bettor's life.

The funeral to me was when they passed the legislation, and the way they did it. That was so disgustingly sick.

Pinny is just an afterthought to that. A big one, because of who they were, but not nearly in the same league as the betrayal and corruption in the US Senate.
