Man am I the wrong guy for that job. I am a complete computer boob. I don't know how any of that works. I don't even know if you're serious. I've got no idea of the logistics/legalities of any of that.

If I look at it on a serious level: I have a good business relationship with a guy who owns a computer store and would probably understand the logistics. We could theoretically get some kind of partnership going.

There would have to be a lot of money in it. I've already got a job which I love and where I make good money. (I assume the same could also be said of my computer guru.) I like to help people but I'm not looking for another side-gig like when I was a mod here and it was actually costing me money (and giving me headaches).

But again, I have no idea if you're even serious or if this is legal or what.

I thought of that too this morning. (I am also in Canada). But there probably isn't any money in offering such a service, and would just be a big hassle. Remote access wouldn't be very hard to set up for 1 or 2 people in the US, but more than that could be a logistical zoo.

You would basically be a broker. Placing wagers for others through your account and collect a commision for your trouble. You could send payouts via PayPal. I'm sure there are guys willing to go through the trouble.

Maybe you can act as a conduit or broker instead of hosting it yourselves? You can hook up US bettors with Canadian citizens who don't bet but are willing to offer their address, IP connection and even request a neteller account for the US bettor to use (I believe peer to peer transfers cost 1.9%). The Canadians will live within driving distance from you who already have wireless broadband. You get a used laptop with a wireless card. You install the laptop in the Canadian's home and have them register with neteller and sign some authorization allowing the US bettor to trade and collect bonuses for them. Be sure to use a separate email and phone number for each Canadian. Then you inform the US bettor with the account details and the US bettor funds the Canadian's acct and starts trading and remove his winnings via a peer to peer transfer. The US bettors accesses the laptop remotely and starts betting with a Canadian IP address.

You can charge the US bettor a setup fee like $600 and a monthly service fee for $300. You give the canadian a percentage of the monthly service fee, like 50%.

This will only work if you are dealing with US bettors who do this for a living -- they make enough money and they rely heavily on PINN and are more than happy to pay your fees if they can collect all the sign up bonuses for the Canadian's account and transfer the winnings out.

Seems like a win-win situation. Neteller collects all the transfer fees, the Canadian gets money for doing nothing but plug in a computer and register for a neteller account, the US Bettor can keep betting in Pinny and other books, and of course, you the broker make money too.

Even the sportsbooks will win b/c they will at least have money flowing back into their books.

Sounds elaborate, but it shouldn't be difficult to execute. The question is how many US bettors will pay for this service if they feel they can trust you. Someone who bettors know and trust on this forum who lives in Canada would be ideal. But say you can get 15-20 of the US bettors on this forum to do it. That can be a lot of money especially after the setup is complete and you're collecting the ongoing monthly service fees.

Just some ideas to think about. I'm sure none if this is all that orginal, and it's being done in some form or another.

If you want to try it, I'll certainly be a customer and help with the logistics. I have some spare laptops laying around too.

Great idea! sign me up for a Canadian proxy - even 2 or 3 if you can! $600 is a steal if I can collect all their sign up bonuses $$$$. Just don't rip me off or I'll send someone to break you legs -- ha ha. Hook me up with a Canadian female, so I can make calls to the sports books if I need to. I miss trading Pinnacle already. I really hope you or someone can provide this service to U.S. bettors. I'm serious I need to get back into Pinny. I can't make much money without them.

I may have a solution set up for some of us. I will have a Canadian server set up with VPN access available. I will be putting together a package that will include easy setup on your local machine and all data will then go through the Canadian VPN. You would still be on your own to setup Canadian bank account and address if necessary. Does this sound like a solution some would be interested in for a setup/monthly fee?

I contacted aaronb and he's already doing the full service in one city in Canada. I don't care where the Canadian is located as long as they are Canadian.

Anyway, I can't tell too much more right now. Suffice to say I will be trading my Canadian proxy next week and if it works out I will buy more Canadian proxies from him. He sets up everything, and you not only get the Canadian's photo ID and account info, you can call up or email the Canadian and "interview" them to make sure everything is on the up and up. The remote access works very nicely and is quite fast.

BTW I don't get the feeling aaronb lacks clientele. so don't take this feedback as advertisement for his services.
