You're from Canada right? Why don't you charge US bettors to host remote access the computers in Canada? Seriously. It's a great way to make money and help people out at the same time.
Cheers!

Man am I the wrong guy for that job. I am a complete computer boob. I don't know how any of that works. I don't even know if you're serious. I've got no idea of the logistics/legalities of any of that.
If I look at it on a serious level: I have a good business relationship with a guy who owns a computer store and would probably understand the logistics. We could theoretically get some kind of partnership going.
There would have to be a lot of money in it. I've already got a job which I love and where I make good money. (I assume the same could also be said of my computer guru.) I like to help people but I'm not looking for another side-gig like when I was a mod here and it was actually costing me money (and giving me headaches).
But again, I have no idea if you're even serious or if this is legal or what.

I thought of that too this morning. (I am also in Canada). But there probably isn't any money in offering such a service, and would just be a big hassle. Remote access wouldn't be very hard to set up for 1 or 2 people in the US, but more than that could be a logistical zoo.

Those repeated loud WHOOSHES you heard were concepts flying over my head as I read that explanation.
What can I say? I feel glad that I already have a great job and don't have to think about stuff like this.
Maybe someone else will look at this and hear opportunity knocking.
