Guys this is bad news man.. Too much uncertainty for me.
Some of you know me I was very optimistic about this, now I'm fearing the worst..

Same here MBENZ. I have a decent local but nothing compares to the online books.Originally Posted by MBENZ

I wouldn't mess with a local.. If the shiit hits the fan I'm done..
Maybe I can move to Vegas or something.

My local is not just some guy I met off the street so it's nothing I have to worry about. But like I said before it just isn't the same.
It's a shame it has come to this.

Privately owned books (CRIS,BetDon,BetJam/Greek,etc)call their shots and will remain open for buisness![]()

Pinnacle wasn't privately owned?

I was going to be done at the end of the football season anyway. I am a recreational player that its not worth the risk. I will be back in 3-7 years when the US makes online gambling legal and regulated. It will happen, it is just a matter of time.

If your going out searching for a local be careful, because a lot of them are basically nothing more than a D rated type book.Originally Posted by imgv94

The show will always go on. It hurts to lose the best and the industry leader. But there are still great books out there that will absorb the pinny players and be even stronger.

pinnacle is located on the netherlands antilles, which is sort of part of the netherlands. the netherlands have had anti-gambling laws in place for ages for dutch citizens, but no idea if the same applies to citizens of the netherlands antilles (apparently not, because there are several online bookmakers there, including also VIP). netherlands and the us definitely have all kinds of extradition treaties, but i don't know if these treaties also apply to the antilles.
anyway, if i worked at a bookie that would still be accepting us customers, it seems a lot safer to me to be in costa rica or antigua or whatever. but i'm not an expert, so i could be wrong, and this whole story might not have anything to do with the reason of pinnacle to stop taking americans.

I know for sure that not all books will follow.

I think next football seasn there will be ZERO books left
I do not think any owner wnats to be jailed as the usa will go to another Country and get them, Pinnacle hjad no choice unless they wanted to do 25 years in a federal Pen

The ones that stay open will draw too much attention and then will close. I think by next football season there will be some risky only type books left for usa players.

so far so good, the big boys are still here
we only lost one or two respected books

We paid our dues
Time after time
They brought down sentences
We committed no crimes
And bad losses
We've had a few
But now the government is having its ass kicked
And we'll be back like new
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, MY FRIEND!
