I just put $2k on Central Mich -7 (bought down) and am waiting to see where the line goes. As all of you know I am a UB alumn and follow them closely but what I have seen the last 3 weeks has been disgusting. They cannot take care of the ball, and CM is going to exploit the shit out of them in my opinion. They throw the ball well which is not good news for UB. I see them losing by 17 or so in my opinion.

Any thoughts? I think this game closes at CM -10, I dont see how the public can favor UB...

OP, does buffalo's play actually disgust you? seems strange given that the buffalos were probably the worst ncaa football program (arguably the worst by far) just a few years ago?

having said that, i do think betting-wise that buffalo is classic go-against team right now and CMU is pretty good go-with team these days.

Polson, I went to UB, and go there for Grad school as well. I have followed the program through alllll the lows, was at the MAC championship last year and won a shit load on UB money line when they beat Ball State and was at the bowl game in Toronto. I also lived with 3 ex players and still have contacts in the program. They are not disgusting anymore, but they have a sophmore QB who doesnt understand how to take care of the ball. Comparing them to what they were 6 years ago is irrelevant, because that is not the state of the program anymore.

I dont think UB sucks, but I do NOT think they can hang with CMU at this point right now, that is why I expected the line to move up to 10 and I was hoping to be able to hedge. I am shocked the line has moved in UB's favor, not sure how 3 ugly losses would make the public want to back UB vs a team who just beat Michigan State on the ROAD... and has arguably one fo the best QB's in the nation right now...
