Already locked in my Jets pick. I really thought it was gonna go down, but if the people in here are any indication, i should've waited. I know the Saints are undefeated and it's their home opener so it should be rocking, but the Jets should be quick to bring them back to reality with their pressure and Reevis. Eitherway this one should be a close and entertaining game, good luck everybody.

I wonder if Rex is gonna bring the heat all game and try to get in Brees's head, problem is NO can run the ball and they are stacked, Shockey, Moore, Colston, Henderson, Bush in the passing game....leaving these cats in one on one coverage can be trouble in the open field....sure the Jets shutdown New England with Brady just coming back from injury, but NO is a entire different animal

So the question becomes if the Jets cannot get to Brees without the blitz, what happens, but if they must blitz can the secondary hold up...in addtion who will probably have LB's covering Bush and Shockey....not so good

Line is set up perfectly for a reason. -6.5 will induce heavy Saints betting (Remember Vikings -6.5 yesterday). If it was set at +7.5 it would have induced heavy Jets betting.

I hope they blitz brees many times and often. They will just spread em out and pick them apart, something the jets D have not faced yet. That was NE gameplan but brady had a shitty day going 23/47 with plenty of missed throws. With a mediocre game this weekend due to weather, I think brees will have a big game at home.

I've been on Jets every time for the first 3 weeks, but going with the Saints -6.5 this week. I think it's a reasonable spread for Saints at home and that there's some value on them with less than a TD to give.

It should be a good game. The defense has a lot to prove. Despite there #10 ranking teams still think they have no defense. But they are wrong. The defense will continue to prove this weekend.

Saints may be tenth in defense, but Jets are FIRST.

Normally, I'd be all over the better defense getting this many points, but the thing that is stopping me is that the Saints have a bye week next week. Good teams don't want to lose going into a bye and be thinking about it for two weeks, and there is some ridiculously great ATS stat supporting this. I will dig for it in a bit.
