Tough question to answer. You can look at it many different ways. It even comes to the question of what you mean by "scalp." Some people use the word scalp for straight arbing - which is a different and trickier process than bonus scalping.

The answer to your question is totally different between arbing and bonus scalping.

In any case, MLB is #1 IMO. MLB generally has lower juice across the board so that is good for both arbing and bonus scalping. The large number of games is also a very good thing. Limits are lower than NFL but are still okay - and they get better at playoff time. And MLB has some props that are quite friendly to the grinding arbitrageur.

NFL football has the highest limits so that is very good for bonus scalping. If you're looking for actual arbs though, it can be hard work - at least with spreads, totals and ML's. Also the fact that there are so few games (relatively) is bad. Some NFL props are easier to arb (but they have lower limits so aren't much good for bonus scalping.)

NCAAB at tournament time can be good.

it would depend on what book you're in first of all. I like Olympic, Bethorizon, and LinesMaker on the NBA 1st Half lines (spreads and totals) against Pinny. Lines can move fast so refresh your screen before committing the bet.

Default Best Sports to Scalp are...

Three way soccer lines I find are the best by far. There is three possible outcomes so you have a 2 in 3 chance of scalping to your favourite book. Favorites in soccer win a lot more and are upset a lot less then north american sports.

MLB comes in next.

I would have to agree with some others in this thread and go with MLB in terms of consistently having good arbs. Incidentally, speaking of baseball, the most increible scalps I've seen in recent memory were on the Little League World Series of all things, back in August. There were simply some insane opportunities, and I'm not talking between fly-by-night books either. That was a windfall of biblical proportions.....

I don't like the scalping thing, but when I had to meet a rollover I found some huge differences in tennis lines. Baseball as well, but not as dramatic as tennis.

MLB - Money lines or sides?

Tennis - Seen a player open at 2.80 with the bookies, then before the match start be at 1.60. Throw that in to ur calculator!

Hogie2010, aside from Pinnacle who offers attractive soccer odds? The vig on 3-way lines is generally enourmous, and I always avoided trying to scalp it for that reason, but I'd love to learn I've been making a mistake ignoring it (given that I certainly can't cap it).

That usually means the result is known in advance. There are many examples each year.

Correct!

Even 1 happened today, Daveydenko opened at 1.38 drifted all the way to 1.6. Lost the first set, then retired.

Tennis is huge, just gotta know when. That's the trick!

Concerning real 3-way-soccer Centrebet, 24hPoker and Unibet offer good odds (but only the first one has high limits).

Concerning asian handicap soccer SportBookieOnline is the best choice (Pointbet is also good but at the moment there are problems with slow payments). Also 188Bet and other asian books like IBCBet and SB1888.com are recommendable.

Expekt is good in both but has not so high limits.

Arilou,

I'll give you a big tip here. I find Mansion is great for Baseball and Soccer. If you use the "Bet Against" feature on a soccer line it turns a three way line into the familiar two way line.

It's awesome, check it out.

Here's another tip, stay away from Bet Who

My advice: never play such lines at books that mean something to you. Stay away from minor sports and specially from possible bad lines/fixed games.

I don't agree, stay with the trend and get out with a significant profit.

This thread should be renamed to "Best Sports To Scalp Used To Be...."

There is no sports to scalp today. Zero. Nada. Nothing. Zilch. Finita.
