Without even capping I like the Eagles, Colts and will bet my car on the Pats plus the points. Sea looks good too from a value standpoint.
The bookies have started these lines too high!

Hmm, I dunno. I too will use the prefacing remark, "without even capping," - but historically, don't the Home teams that have had a bye do very well in these games?
Taking a quick look, I like BALT-4, NO-5 and SD-5. I don't like laying that many points (9.5) on Chicago.
I won't be straight-betting any of those games but that is my gut reaction.

NFL playoff betting is pretty simple.....pick the winner and they cover about 80% of the time or something like that. If you think a dog is going to cover you might as well parlay them with the moneyline. Not too many dogs cover and lose the game.

I'm not a big believer in general trends. Thats like saying the roulette wheel usually hits black after red. Now if you said Team A has not covered in the last 3 vs the favorite, that would have some meaning.
Almost all of these dogs have the better QB and two for sure do. Having the best qb and getting more than a field goal is asking for trouble for favorite players.

The Colts will lose. I would lean to Seattle and New England. Have a good weekend John.

the Seahawks just blew my parlay but they excited me for a little while.
Colts Money Line + 170 Win
Saints Money Line -230 Win
Seahawks Money Line +335 Lost in OT
Patriots Money Line +190 ???
I was getting ready to hedge the hell out of it. Oh well.

That would have been a monster scoop with all those ML dogs.
I got the ole round robin 3 teamer with all 4 games. 1 is in. But need the Pats to run the table.
