Default SBR receives multiple complaints from Pointbet (SBR rating D+) customers.

The majority of these complaints are regarding a lack of email responses and website down-time. One player reports being locked out of his account, which holds a four figure balance, for what has now been three weeks.

"My account has been frozen for more than two weeks. I have sent numerous e-mails to care@pointbet.com. My e-mails have been completely ignored. The message I receive is as follows: "Your account is being frozen. Please contact care@Pointbet.com" Please turn my account back on and explain why this has happened."

    I never played there.

Ignoring e-mail is a huge warning sign of a book that might be having trouble.

Pointbet is a great example of how players shouldn't be drawn in by shiny bells and whistles without viewing the big picture.

Pointbet has some very tempting low-juice, opinionated lines - but what good is it with this (and their other monkey business) going on?

For anyone who's not aware, here is an example of the other monkey business I was referring to:

SBR Bill Dozer Reports: Pointbet Downgraded from C- to D+ due to concerns over the sportsbook’s location. Pointbet tells players that they are operating from the British Virgin Islands. However, SBR has confirmed that the sportsbook is operating illegally from Batam Island, which is part of Indonesia. These concerns are highlighted by the recent disappearance of Asian sportsbook

I don't understand why anyone would risk their hard earned money dicking around with books that are rated D- and F- ? And then come on SB to complain. You know the risks going with shitty books that's why there are SB ratings.

    freebie,

Many players only discover places like SBR after problems arise.

Thats a good point Marc. And man its tough working the email shift at SBR, some of the stories and scams players get dragged through, just ugly and sad. So many emails start off by saying "I'm getting slow paid so I decided to check this book out and I found your site....". (usally with a google search)

Its tough...these scamsters are very slippery and they will find thei way into the pockets of the uninformed and the greedy.
