I think that is an awful lot of points in an NFL game. I remember thinking that Green Bay was a lock last week and that was wrong big time. You never know in an NFL game.

baltimore will have their minds on going on the road and taking out the patriots the following week, allowing for an ugly cover from the $ick f*ck browns

Ravens are overrated on Defense. Cheifs scored on them, and SD's passing game shit all over them. Browns have big play potential, and have played until the second halves of their games. Ravens WR's are mediocre at best. Just remember SD was one of the worst defenses last year, and I dont think anything has changed. Oh Yea Rex Ryan took his defensive scheme to NY, and it has showed in the Ravens lack of ability to dominate on defense.

yea..I think Cleveland can keep it close too. These are division rivals and most games are not over til the 4th quarter. I'm not touching this game...its not an easy pick!

    Browns cover
    Wrong.

The Chiefs scored 7 on a blocked punt, and 7 more on a 6 yard drive after a pick. Take those away and the Cheifs offense actually only scored 10. This is with a better overall group of offensive players than the Browns as well.

Ravens D may not be as good as in years past, but the run D is still amazing and the turnover prone Quinn will surely toss a pick in this one. Flacco is a legit passer now, and the Ravens have a good mix of RBs. A 2 touchdown victory is not that much to ask here.

    Ravens -13

I don't buy the "Ravens are over-rated on defense" line. Kansas scored points on them? The Chiefs scored one TD on a blocked punt recovery and another when they got the ball on the Baltimore 2-yard line, as well as hitting a FG from over 50 yards.

SD's passing offense racked up a lot of yards but also two picks, and Baltimore kept them out of the end-zone on FIVE red-zone possessions.

But I'm still not laying two touchdowns, even against the sorry Browns :-)

As bad as the Browns have been, they always seem to bring something extra against the Ravens because of their history. I suggest passing either way.

I think I will play them, I'm gonna watch the line I will wait til I do my Sunday write up. Love the way the Ravens look this year.

The Ravens defense is overrated compared to last year's if you look at what they have done so far. In both games they are not blitzing as much, and that is the main difference. Hopefully that changes, but they also lost Rex Ryan Defensive Coordinator and LB Bart Scott both to the Jets which was a big part of their D.

Can't lay double digits in a divisonal rivalry here...the Brownies haven't looked good but these two teams know each other real well and 13 is a tough cover I think...

I love the Ravens right now, and they have a legit shot to go to the Super Bowl now that they have an offense, but I still wouldn't lay 13 in a Chargers/Patriots sandwich game.

This is a classic case of the DDDD Rule...................Double Digit Divisional Dog
Never lay double digit chalk to a divisional opponent!

    Browns +14

Aside from the general consensus of the div impact... Aren't we putting tonnes of stock into this "powerhouse" offense that (KC game aside) beat the Chargers who barely beat the Raiders... (who incidentally, barely beat the Chiefs)

I like the cover, and a half unit on the upset special of the week at +550 on the freeroll...

See a 30-13 game from the Ravens, laying the 13 here. Browns can't stop anyone on D and Quinn looks awful.

It is a lot of pts, but you have to consider the teams who are playing

Cinci has a good defense, and the possibility of an offensive explosion with Palmer/Ocho. Don't bet against them when they are given a lot of pts

The Browns, however, are the Browns. I've watched most of the first two games and they've been terrible. Tried to pound it in from the 2 yard line on third down with Cribbs using the Wildcat offense. Mangini is not a genious, Brady is looking more and more overrated, and Braylan is going to lead the NFL in drops once again.

Considering they are facing the Raven's D, two-headed running attack, and the still-ever-so-surprising Flacco, I'd like to think Ravens -13 is a lock!!

(This coming from someone who HATES the Ravens with a passion.)
