Which is why Jeff Garcia would've fit right in.

I wouldn't call him a bust just yet but he is on the bubble. I don't know what he does in the offseason but it should consist of throwing footballs 24/7, it seems like he makes rookie mistakes over n over.

JRuss is the worst starting QB in football! It is too bad Al Davis won't change QB because I think the Raiders could have some success this year. They do the same things the Jets do..play solid defense and run, run, run the football. The difference is Sanchez can actually complete passes to open receivers while JRuss isn't ever close. I mean he is so bad..he can't even hit the running backs on screen passes! He throws it either behind McFadden or lofts the ball 20 ft in the air and gets McFadden crushed by a linebacker!

Its really pathetic..as a Raider fan..I'm hoping he gets hurt..Then atleast we'll be able to see how good the team will be with an ave QB at the helm.

Maybe Russell can become the first "closer" in football. Because in the final 2 mins of the game he seems to forget who he is and become a decent QB for a change. But the rest of the game, he's garbage.

The only time he can make a throw is against a 3-man rush when he can sit in the pocket and throw with no absolutely pressure, like the last drive against KC.

Other than that, he can't throw on the run, he can't move in the pocket because his footwork is awful, and he can't throw with a hand in his face.

Other than that, he's terrific.

Take the under is this weeks game against the Broncos! Broncos D is ranked #2 (surprise huh) and of course Oakland has been impressive thus far..

The only thing that scares me is JRuss turning the ball over in Raiders territory, and giving the Broncos quick and easy scores..which could def happen. He is def. due for a 3 INT game..but atleast he is at home..
