Can you name anybody white at all who got this type of punishment for a similar crime and no criminal past? Just one, celebrity or not.

He would have been in deep doodoo if the old man he shot pressed charges. And no prosecutor will press charges against the VP of US unless charges are pressed by the victim.

First of all, obviously Plaxico made a mistake, and they have strict laws in NY, and there are consequences. In the interview with Plaxico on ESPN with Jeremy Schaap, Plax claims that he had the gun only because he was going to pick up Ahmad Bradshaw at the same apartment complex where teammate Steve Smith had recently been robbed at gunpoint. Plax said it had nothing to do with him feeling like he was in danger at the nightclub or NY city in general. The nightclub also allowed him to enter without having to give up the weapon.

Regarding Stallworth, I'm sure he didn't intend on running anyone over, but wasn't he speeding at the time of the accident? And he was also intoxicated. If there was even a remote chance that he was over the blood alcohol limit, why not just pay for a cab?

In each case, they're guilty, I just don't know if the punishment they received fit the crime.
