I spoke with somebody there yesterday, and they assured me that payouts would resume today. They also went on to say it will be business as usual

Better move fast, the slime at BetUS are using this world holiday calendar to slow down payments this year. They have been known to take a day or two on each side of them as well.

Hey everyone,

I'm new here to the boards, looks like an awesome place and I look forward to sharing/reading picks/opinions and what not.

For the issue at hand, BetUS.com DID process my payout that I had originally put in on the 23rd today.

It's worth noting that I'm a low stakes gambler so it was only a $140 payout, bigger payouts might elude them!

While I was waiting for the payout, I made a few 100, so I'm going to try a second withdrawl of most (or all) of my money. I'll let you all know if I run into any problems.

I think I'm going to head to The Greek as soon as I get all my money outta here... I like their interface and they seem to have a lot of betting options. That was BetUS's strongest point for me, being able to bet things like team totals on hockey as well as just ML and over unders

Reply is we cannot find the owner to approve the payout that was requested on the 10th of Dec.
Hoping he shows soon as it will be over 3 weeks since our first request and its an absolute nightmare as we heard every excuse as to not paying and some new ones.

After my initial withdrawl went down fine (the one that I'd put in on Dec 23rd), the one that I asked for much earlier today is still "Waiting Supervisor Authorization".

But, I'll give it time. If I hadn't found this site and read all the horror stories I wouldn't be so terrified!

Keep us updated. Might help to make a few smaller requests. If they are using the ole "waiting on the owners approval" gig there is probably an amount that doesn't get stalled.

BetUs customer service states that the first payment of $10,000 was lost by FedEx and subsequent withdrawal requests must be approved by top management who hasn’t been present for over two weeks. The bettor’s last five online payout request have been canceled.

Agreed! And the worst part, as others have mentioned, is how well advertised they are.

I found them ranked an A++ in some magazine about 2 or 3 years ago which is why I chose them in the 1st place... have since heard ads for them on the radio (Jesse Ventura) and seen billboards around town.

Good new though - my payout processed today. Hope everyone else has the same good luck.

I have been a customer of BetUS since December 2006. I signed up when I was sent by US mail a flyer from BetUS. It promised a 50% Bonus for first Deposits. I deposited $5,000 and was promised $2,500 worth of free plays once I wagered 7 times my deposit. I have since wagered well over $35,000 and I am being told that my free plays were cancelled by the management. No explaination, just cancelled. I did withdrawl $5,000 from my account with no problems in late December. I requested another withdrawl last week of $5,000 that has not been sent to me yet. I am no longer betting at BetUS until this is resolved. I am also requesting a withdrawl of the rest of my funds imediately.

I was paid by netteller today. 5K I requested another 5k
I was denied the bonus due to me. No excuses, just a NO.

Just stay away from BetUS. You will sleep better at nights. I used to play there b/c their bonuses where so generous, but it's a very shady book. My position with them was mostly a lost, which is a good thing. If you win you are in danger of getting shafted or slow paid. I feel lucky to have gotten out of there without any problems but I won't go back ever. And they still harrass me with phone calls. Also BetRoyal and Betmania. All very scary books. When you are constantly getting phone calls to redeposit you know there is something very wrong. The smart money is staying away and they are desperate to get more deposits.
