Thumbs down DOJ has hung US out to dry

Lets face it,the government could care less about the plight of US players scammed by BOS aka GARY KAPLAN.If you don't believe that, try calling the office of Mike Fagan(chief prosecuter of St.Louis@3145392200).All you will get is no return calls and no response of an e-mail address!Obviously they have no intention of looking out for US players interest. As far as Kaplan not being able to be found....He is probally working at the OSGA offices hatching his next advertising campaign to hook his next catch!Wished I'd known about SBR a while back since while the rest of the so called watchdogs were giving these crooks a thumbs up....SBR was calling a spade a spade!Hope SBR keeps up the good work and when the snake Kaplan sticks his head out of the hole next time,we'll have a chance to get a shovel and cut it off!!!

I think we can only blame BOS themselves, who said in their final press release that they don't have player funds and need to use future profits from "other business" in order to make good. They have been giving BS excuses since day one, probably to save themselves legally. First it was that Neteller was holding the money which was a lie, then the US wouldn't let them move money. Now they are saying Antigua wants to help pay it so they have to go through proceedings to see who has jurisdiction. But, when BetCRIS took the Euro-player debt it happened over night.

I agree the DOJ doesn't care if players get paid. But BOS is who is ultimately responsible.

Good post. If you think about it, it plays to the DOJ's hand if the book stiffs the players. Then they can justify their pursuit of other books.

Angry was DOJ just idle threat?

My question is,did'nt one of the demands of the DOJ state that all US players money be refunded? If this be the case, are they holding BOS assets or are they just counting on the fine upstanding characters@BOS to do the right thing? If they do have some assets frozen, should'nt they let us know what the next step is instead of ignoring players request?Absolutly nobody I know has ever been able to get a response from the DOJ actors.Thought maybe somebody else might have some insight.

Yes that was one of the requirements.

However the BOS thugs have always been thieves as we have documeneted over the last 7 years. They have put the money in attorney trust accounts for the purpose of paying legal fees from both shareholders and criminal prosecutions. This is allowed under GAP accounting although they are obviously abusing it. They are just bad guys plain and simple. When crapola hits the fan bad guys take the players money and run. No amount of lawsuits will get the players money back now or get their employees in Costa Rica paid. Its all been hidden from the impending bankruptcy.
