Default Brett Farve: Brother, thanks for the memories!

It will be great to see him take his place in the Hall. He was a great comeback quaterback who won the big one and did it with class. Broken thumb? still played. father passed away? He's on the field playing hours later.

I remember that Monday night game he played against the Raiders after his dads passing. He was focused and they did a number on Oakland that night.

I don't think he's going to retire with the way the Packers played this year. Brett still has some gas left in the tank for a couple more years, and I think he'll be back for at least 2 more years.

He will be back, he actually played well this year and Pack have no one than can do better. If he does not play , Pack go 4-12.

Favre will be back. I wonder if they can get a game breaking TE in the offseason. I'm so sick of Bubba dropping balls and blocking like girl. Imagine if Brett had a legit TE to bail him out when he gets pressure? Same thing with getting a decent RB. Green is ok, but getting older every year and I've never been sold on his overall game. Green fumbles too much, isn't a great blocker, and isn't even the greatest screen RB. Green isn't even a top 20 RB in the NFL when it comes to his overall game. Give Favre some weapons and watch out next year.

Still, even at his age he has one of the quickest releases of any NFL QB not to mention can still throw smoke.

Let's face facts here ... He's had some adversity in his life as we all have ... He also makes millions playing a game.

    Time to retire.

Anyone feel like he is the kind of guy who can't survive without football. I see pain pill addiction as a possible future story.

possibly lakerfan...ultra competitive guys usually have a tough time walking away...they'll be on the golf course gambling for big money or something like that...

I can't imagine the NFL without Favre or Bill Cowher, even if I wasn't ever a big fan of either.

I'd like to see him hang'em up. I admire him greatly but he is past his prime and the Packers will be worse next year. I'd hate to see him retire after a say a 4-12 season.
