Shouldn't matter if ball moved after second foot came in down standing up. Someone can knock it out if they want to, catch was complete after second foot came down and possession was made in the endzone, play over.

I think the rule is that if the player is going to the ground while making the catch, he has to maintain possession as he goes to the ground. The ball CAN move, it CAN hit the ground, as long as he still maintains CLEAR possession of the ball.

I think he kept his hand on the ball, Raiders screwed by the NFL again...

Calls like that are the main reason I love free plays and contest prize money, betting your own money on this crap is silly when you don't have to, no matter how much money you have. That call could cost the Raiders on the moneyline.

You need to maintain possession through the catch as you go to the ground Dave. Pretend it was his knee that hit as he was going to the ground... then would you agree he needs to maintain through the catch, would you not?
