Federer will win, probably in four sets, although I think Djoker will cover the 5.5 game spread.

So long as Federer is in his prime, there will never be a place for Del Potro. Federer will kick the living daylights out of Del Potro like he usually does. He's not going to be bitch smacked like Nadal was.

Scholar is it just me, or is Raffa a little deformed in the chest area. It looks like his titties don't line up.

If Fed plays scared like he did in sets 3,4 against Soderling he has no shot to win us open with players left.

Watch del Potro break a leg when he slips on a bar of soap while showering.

    That's the way jjinx works.

I noticed that too, in addition to the fact that the tear in his abdominal muscles certainly doesn't look good. Even with the tape it looked like he was pregnant with an alien that was trying to claw out of his stomach. We're seeing the hazards of playing every point like it's your last. It was a sight to see when he was still healthy, but who knows if he'll ever get back to the top after this.

Nadal will always struggle with a heavy topsin on hardcourts, ball stays too high for opponent to slam back and keep him on the run.

It is a lot harder to get easy winners with heavy topsin, Nadal winning a Wimbledon was a miracle

Yeah he really killed him at the French Open. That match alone may have matured Del Potro more than a full season of tennis could. Showed him the lack of killer instinct he had. I think he wants Federer tomorrow, whether he can hang with him is another story, but regardless - DelPo won't be white washed like Nadal was today.

Federer is 6-0 lifetime vs Del Potro.

Five of the 6 were straight sets, and he beat him 63 60 60 in the Aussie Open last year.

Last year? C'mon Lou. Even you know last year means nothing 20 months later.

Point is hard court has always been Del Potro's best surface and Fed has killed him on it.

Del Petro is getting better and better every month, he is a major threat to Fed

He has long arms which keeps him in points and very underrated from the baseline

    H2H record means squat.

Yesterday, someone was lecturing to me about how Serena was going to kick Kim Possible's behind because of their H2H record..... but guess who won? ME! Wait, I mean Kim!

errr Lou, that was from a different thread.

Djokovic has completely owned Del Potro, but I give Del Potro a good chance of beating him as well.

By the way, DP will not be #1 next year. I'd bet against it.

IIRC, their last one was six years ago. Plus, it's Serena. I took Clijsters as well despite the H2H, which didn't mean much to me.

I'd only really consider up to the last three years, depending on the players. In some cases, even less.
