Well its Christmas eve. Just thought I'd get an Idea how and were do you all spend christmas. Heres what I do Cuban Christmas (im sure alot of the SBR staff in Costa Rica have experienced this ) Cubans big pary is Christams Eve (noche buena) the day starts of by preparing to roast a hog. Some even dig pits into the ground, others use a box style BBQ called a "caja china" or Chinese Box. the hog takes hours to cook so well start roasting the hog say around 11am or 12n. Once the hog is cooking we break out music, lots of booze and play dominoes or cards. friends drop by and we keep partying late into the night. By the way the hog comes out delicious,and tender . On christmas day we visit our relatives and friends ,and have left over hog and all the fixin's which include, black beans, rice, yuca (casava) its a starchy root when made right taste awesome (garlic ,oil and chopped onions) when made wrong taste like wax. Oh well thats a sample of my Cuban christmas

We are going out to a family type gathering. I bring about 4 kids with me, 3 HS kids and one kid that some woman claims is mine but it is not. He is 14.

A couple of gifts exchaned also, xmas day the same thing but we rent out a room at a nice diner.
