Bob Knight tied Dean Smith's all-time Division I men's wins record, notching No. 879 against Bucknell today. Texas Tech's next game is against UNLV on Thursday the 28th.

In past years I would say this was a easy win for Bob Knight, but this UNLV team is much improved. They are 11-2, and hung with Arizona for most of the game in one of their 2 losses. I sure hope the Rebels dont make it easy for him on Thursday, as Id much rather see Bob Knight set the record against another team. Because I think if UNLV beats Texas Tech on Thursday, they might just jump into the top 25.

I haven't seen much Rebels basketball this year, but from what you said about them looker I give them a shot against TT.

Yes they did Dan, 84-73, but that was at the Thomas and Mack. Rebels have been known not to perform on the road. But this year they have been doing fine. So I hope they can knock off the Red Raiders on Thursday.

UNLV is real good this year fellows....very strong defense and can take care of the ball and cause turnover. Offensively they are not great but if they shoot as well as they did tonight they can be very tough....
