Default Hide Your Gambling This Week

Or break your families heart, dont be stupid and let your addiction to cards and sports wreck it all.

Be safe, hide it or dont gamble the next 4 days

No need to bet on Eve and Day and sit by the tv while your family enjoys Christmas.

Make the bet and check the results later... if you have to watch you are betting too much

I hardly watch the games I bet anyway. I will just wager and just check the results later. Should just see the increased balance when I log in.

Day one and I did not bet, I think today also taking off. I got thrown out of 2 Christmas Diners because of gambling a couple of years ago so learned my lesson not to let gambling control the holidays.

Sammy your the screw up of your family and turned into a dissapointment, they all talk about you Sammy.

Sammy if I had a Son I want a tape of your life and show little JJ of what not to do and what not to be.

Sammy your bad news

My gambling funds were part of my budget to start the year just like the Christmas presents every one is going to receive from me so I am not hiding anything.

I agree also. No need to embarrass ourselves and be anti-social in front of our families, as much crap as we talk every last one of us knows we're ashamed of being gamblers.

Leave it to OldThreads to resurrect this. My family keeps the tv on football so it's all good. Sometimes I'll have to go "check my email" before the games though.

Up until this year I could call it investing.
My family is all about flopping in front of the T.V and watching any football game that is on. They used to have bowl games on Christmas, now its basketball. Side bets are often wagered, and on occasion I will actually book bets for a game with my family if they wish to put a substancial amount on the game because I can then go online and wager. Then as the game goes on, we argue about how the ref is f***ing us and the game is fixed. We also make some games into a drinking game:
Football rules are as follows.
Pick a Team.
Everytime that team gets the ball you have to drink.
Everytime that team scores a touchdown you have to drink.
Everytime that team scores a field goal you have to drink.

We are currently trying to develop rules for Basketball.

We would not know what to do with ourselves if there wasn't any bets on the games. Remember the Christmas Holidays are for hanging out with your family, drinking, smoking and of course arguing, then making up and giving some stuff to each other.

Wow, JJ when u comming down to MIA and hang with HB for a while. Seriously bro, MIA is your kind of town. As far as gambling during the holidays, just cut your bets in half, maybe more. If you lose u wont be a pissed off wet blanket. Im winding down for the year. Im ahead maybe 20 units all said and have just about given up on NFL action. I might do a little college BB beyond the NFL season. I just cant bet year round to taxing on the brain. You guys are tuff MF'ers to do this year round! Why am i rambling, oh yeah Im high right now, gotta go to a party tonight. Peace out, love u guys talk again tomorrow.

Definitely hiding it. Was thinking about how much it was going to suck earlier. lol. But, seriously, hiding it is the best bet. It will cause a lot of a hurt and anomosity that doesn't need to be caused. A lot of people just don't understand what we do, and it's not right for us to cause them pain because they simply just don't understand. Can't say I'm not going to be coming up with some bullshit story as to why I'm routing for the Chargers on Christmas Eve when everyone knows I'm a Raiders fan though. lol.

Well JJ, every year my father, brother, uncle and myself settle in and watch the TV games on Christmas Day. We have dinner with the family but when 25 people are there no one misses us watching the games. Sometimes the games we are watching no one even has a bet on.

Have a good holiday JJ and if you need to take a break more power to you.

haha yeah, you're right, and it's better than going with the under and sitting there with your head in your hands saying "please don't score, please don't score" every drive! lol.
