i gotta friend who jinxes me all the time when he calls. (don't laugh unfortunately it's true)

i didn't want to believe it myself but, i'd have sizeable leads in games and, he would call me and, i swear to god i'd lose them. the worst one that i'll never forget is when i had an 8 run lead with the bluejays against texas. i had the bluejays and they were up 9-1 in the bottom of the 8th inning and, 2 outs. well, this guy calls me up and says you won this jays game and, i told him. now that you called me, i'll probly lose and, he says to me, your not gonna lose and, this will prove i'm no jinx. so, we continue to talk for a bit longer and, the rangers just scored 3 runs. so i tell him you better not fn'ing jinx me on this one or i'm gonna be fumming at you. so, we continue talking for a bit longer and, i happen to check the score out and it was tied up. so, i said to my friend, you are a fn'ing curse you sob bastard. and he says, you haven't lost yet and, right as he said that to me, the rangers take a 10-8 lead in the game. so after i seen that i just cussed him out like there was no end.

and to this day, when i have action on any games i will not answer the phone when he calls me.

I have multiple tv's in my entertainment room. If I have been watching a game with the volume on the main tv and give up on the game and change to one of the other televisions and my team makes a comeback, I refuse to change the game back to the main tv.

That's the extent of my superstition.

I'm totally superstitious...each week on Sunday nights I write out each game and circle the team I lean towards...on Monday's I do my eliminations of games...I always post my picks Thursday nights on wagerline, and always try to watch games from my house on Saturdays...then at the end of the day I go work out and then go through box scores...just kind of a ritual I have that has worked for me...
