did great the last 2 weeks even hit a 4 team parlay.. hitting everything and THEN today/tonight lost anything and everything then the chasing chasing chasing starts.. sucks to have this feeling to make it worse I teach for a living ( not academics) and I am having shoulder surgery tomorrow and I will be out of work for a month or so with nothing but time and time and time on my hands placing wagers and dealing with pain....... god i need to hit a good winning streak with boredom!!!!! ha wish me luck and let me know if any great picks ya got!!!... best of luck to all of us!

hey flyingillini.. bro I did the same shiiit about 4 weeks ago. Let me share with you what I did as it may help. When your bankroll is up especially after a real hot streak you fell great, uphoric all powerful. When one of your picks betray you the feeling goes away. What the f\*\*k happened, so u double or sometimes triple what u normally bet to get that feeling and your bankroll back BIG FVCKING MISTAKE!!! I was bored did a lil old 2 unit half time play on a ncaa basketball game (lost) oh shit me wrong, not twice in a roll sooo I bet the second half for 3 units, figure Id break even or a little ahead (lost) DAMN IT. bet on the next ncaa game (didn't know shiit about the teams so I played the favorite) 6 units for the half (lost) now I was fumming a lil drunk, arrogant and CHASING!! so I bet 8 units (lost) went to bed feeling gut punched, woke up with a hang-over and a bankroll way down. I didn't bet for 5 days. I sat back and analyzed what I did wrote it down and pasted it infront of my PC. I started my way back by capping 2-3 games a week (thats all) these where games that I had strong leans on and started betting between 3-5 units on only these games. Well as it turned out my bad streak turned around and Im happy to say my bank roll recovered from that aweful night. Bottom line when u feel a bad streak comming (and sure as shiiit they come) reduce your games stick to a normal amount of units (for me 3-5 units) and remember this is a marathon fight the urge to chase. Bowl season is custom made for chasing.

Good advice is to get all your capping done and bets down on all of your bowl plays. Then force yourself not to make any more. If you just absolutely have to chase, up your bet on a game you have already capped.

It just doesnt make sense to bet a game you threw out when you were capping.

I was on a big winning streak that ended almost three weeks ago. Have lost the vast majority of my plays since then. Meanest losing streak I can recall. A whole lot of jawdropping last second losses clumped together. Not a single break. It didn't take too long to realize that something crazy was going on, so basically I had two choices. Stop betting for a while or continue betting with sharply reduced bet size. I chose the latter. Even though I knew the losses would keep coming. So I'm celebrating that I survived this onslaught while losing only a relatively small portion of my bankroll. Streaks are now more important to me than winning or losing. And you can bet your sweet ass that my bet size will increase dramatically when the next winning streak comes along.

I guess that is the exact opposite of what emotions may make us do, which is to bet bigger during losing streaks to get losses back, and bet conservatively during winning streaks.
